These are Our Pets!

We currently have 3 dogs, a prairie dog, a Celestial Parrotlet, a ferret, a Cockatiel, a Sun Conureand a Macaw. We no longer have any cats and have recently entered our first catless period as a family.

{Star, world's cutest Sheltie}

This is "Moonbeam's Morning Star" (her AKC name). She is our oldest dog and has passed an obedience class with Christopher. She is by far the sweetest dog we have ever had, and she actually hugs.

Our current dogs include a Shetland Sheepdog named Star, a mutt named Morgan and a Jack Russel Terrier puppy, named Ginger. Morgan is most likely half Irish Setter or Golden Retriever and half German Shepherd, but she was adopted so we don't know for sure. All three are bitches.

This is Morgan sometime in 1999

{Ginger}

This is Ginger in February 2002

Kiwi is our smallest bird, a Celestial Parrotlet and is the smallest member of the parrot family. Kiwi is Tarra's and she also has a Blue and Gold Macaw named Jester. It was an early gift to her for our thirteenth wedding anniversary (that's a special number to us witches, and denotes how many years it will take to pay off this gift). Our third bird, Kaysa, is a cockatiel, adopted because she needed a home and we are suckers. Last but not least, we have Christopher's Sun Conure, Phoenix, a Yule gift from Tarra. Phoenix was a hand fed baby and only a few months old when we got her. Like Jester, she was too young to leave the store when we first decided to get her (or him). Here is how she looked in February, 2002.

{Phoenix}

This is Jester. Tarra began courting this bird when it was a baby, bonding with it in the store daily. He is now the main attraction of our living room.

{Oliver}

This is Oliver, Tarra's Prairie Dog. This little guy was found in a parking Lot in Connecticut.

{Tarra riding Rhiannon}

This is Tarra riding Rhiannon. We adopted this abused horse and rehabilitated her. before Holly was born, and had to give her up when Tarra was pregnant. Christopher was never able to ride Rhiannon because he was too heavy for her old leg ailment, but we loved her while we had her. Alas, horses are far too expensive to keep!
