About Christopher
|
After changing servers, I took this page down in 2005. I kept meaning to
upgrade it, but that never happened. After several complaints, I have
brought it back up, but with very little modification. That having been
said... This page is about me, Christopher Regan. All the stuff you never wanted to know about me is here, or probably will be here eventually. This picture here is not recent, but it's one of my favorites. It's from the time in my life that I think I looked my best. The shoulder length hair met its demise when they told me to cut it for work in September, 1999. In February, 2002, I shaved my head bald, and it has seen many incarnations since then, though long and red it shall never be again. This page will be updated as time, will, whim and information become available. |

| In the Spring of this year I passed a certification for work, granting me letter after my name. I am a COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant), and am working toward my COT (Certified Ophthalmic Technician) and Surgical specialty. I work in an eye clinic, but also assist in LASIK, Cataract and Yag Laser Surgery. In August, I began a diet and exercise program. I am certainly not what you would call fat, but I have determined to get back in shape before I turn 40, which happens to be in October. Less than two weeks in, I can see some definition in the abdomen and have lost between 5 and 10 pounds. I recently started a Live Journal, where I keep a log of my life on line, and where friends can comment on my posts. It's rather interesting. | |

| This is the CD cover for Starshadow, the home made CD I released around Yule of 2001. We didn't have a decent camera, but we took this with an attachment to a Palm Pilot, known as an Eye Module, which took low quality B&W photos. The CD was made by me with songs written, produced, recorded and performed exclusively by me (with a guest appearance by Robin Gulotta and my wife Tarra on one track). It is only demo quality, but is my artistic life's achievement. In recent months I have listened to it again. The recording quality is obviouly poor, due to the technology involved, and there are mistakes throughout, that just weren't worth fixing, also due to technological limitations and some degree of laziness. But I am pleased for the most part when I hear certain aspects of certain songs. My voice isn't always as bad as I originally thought, I enjoy many of the bass lines, despite the fact that I really never learned to play bass and the drumming on certain tracks impresses me. Still, I think the best aspects of the songs is the songwriting itself, for there are some clever lyrics in there. While often embarrassed to share this with others, I am glad my decendants will be able to hear me when I am gone. |
