| FET's | |||||||||||||
| Is a FET upgrade needed for upgrading to Li-Ion or Li-Po batteries? No. All the batteries will do is give you an increase in run time. Is one needed for upgrading to some after market motors? Yes. Some after market motors will draw more current than what the stock FET's can handle. A FET stack will be needed with one of these motors. The site where you buy it from should tell you if it is needed. Stacking FET's = Soldering a second FET on top of the current FET to give an increase in current capacity. |
