Darklighters Darklighters are evil counterparts to whitelighters, and have similar orbing capabilities. They also possess the only means of killing whitelighters: crossbows that fire arrows tipped in a poison that is fatal to whitelighters. Different types of darklighters exist. One form attempts to spread evil through propagation by seducing young women and impregnating them with evil spawn. One form, known as spirit killers, track future whitelighters. By reading their thoughts and fears, the darklighters make these individuals feel responsible for everything unfortunate that may happen to a friend or loved one, driving them into despair and encouraging them to take their own life. By committing suicide, the individual is denied his or her future as a whitelighter after death. A Tracker is a breed of darklighter that targets whitelighters on the verge of losing their wings. Trackers' poisoned arrows are more potent and kill more quickly. |

Dark Priests A dark priestess can bestow great power upon those who she binds as husbands and wives. Using a dark binding ceremony, powerful dark priestesses overwhelm good individuals with evil and pollute their family lines with darkness. Because they need privacy to perform their rituals, dark priests have the ability to cloak their activities. Dark priests also perform other rituals such as dark wedding and coronations. |

Evil Spirits Evil spirits are ghosts that manage to remain in our world by hanging on to some unfinished business from their life, generally revenge. What makes these spirits different from ghosts is that their intentions are to harm living beings. Evil spirits cannot be vanquished on the physical plane, only the astral plane. In order to complete the vanquish, one's spirit must recite the vanquishing spell. Other ways to vanquish an evil spirit include spreading a potion over their bones or destroying the object of the spirit's wrath. Ghosts leave ultraviolet fingerprints because the ectoplasm that composes ghosts' skin is out of the visual spectrum. |

The horsemen are immune to all magic and only the Source can vanquish them. When a team of horsemen fails, the Source destroys them and picks a new team. |

Furies Like their mythic ancestors these demonic women act as judge, jury and executioner to anyone they consider an "evil doer." They slice victims with their sharp talons and kill with poisonous smoke. Note: when inhaled by a good witch, the smoke seeks out a portal of unexpressed fury, & then causes the fury to build, consuming the witch's humanity, and ultimately turning her into a fury. |
