| The 6 months practically took wings and flew by as they whirled from one end of the globe to the other. First there was the premiere of his new movie in L.A. Then it was onto London, and then back to Sydney for the premiere's in those respective cities. Tasha was thoroughly exhilerated about all of the different places they went and made it a point to get out and see some of each city when possible. After the Sydney premiere they flew to her parents home in Indiana where they spent a week. Her parents, Marie and John, were thoroughly impressed with Russell and both confided to her how much they liked him. Her sister Emily also came in for a couple days so they could catch up as they hadnt seen each other in a couple years. Her parents agreed to oversee the decorations and were planning to come to the villa a few weeks before the wedding to make sure everything went well. In addition, his parents were planning on arriving a few weeks early to oversee the reception. They had chosen to place it outside in the gorgeous Tuscan dusk. His cousins were to be ushers and oversee the seating of the guests. After spending the time with her parents, they jetted to the villa in Tuscany to begin preparations for the wedding such as seeing which chamber was large enough to accomodate everyone. They found that the main antechamber would reasonably seat around 150 people it was so large so that was the chosen spot for the actual ceremony. There was a large veranda facing the distant Tuscan hills on one side of the villa and this was where Tasha and Russ were planning to spend their wedding night. They set up a bed that had linen drapes covering it with candles and luminaries all around it. It was a glowing tentlike bed with soft cushions covered in satin. Both were certain it would be perfect, since the veranda was covered overhead but open in the front to allow them unobstructed views should they choose to peek out of the curtainy covering of the bed. Food would be set up for them to snack on in case they became hungry during the night. That had been decided with much laughter and ribald joking amongst the family. Their parents arrived right on time 2 weeks before the ceremony and began setting the lovely little villa up for the momentous occasion about to take place. It was decided that flowers would hang from the entrance of the antechamber and that the wedding party would enter it from the outside. His parents brought a few friends to help them with the cooking duties and contacted an outside caterer to provide the table settings for the reception. The guests had already begun arriving and a week later there was not a single lodging available for miles around. Several of the bigger name stars had been forced to decline due to prior obligations, but there were still enough there to make it a potential disaster if the press were to catch wind of it. To combat this, Russ hired some extra security and had his agent put out a few misleading references to him being in London. They all hoped the paparazzi would be too busy scouring London to think of Italy. 2 nights before the wedding Tasha and Russ were standing togather on the veranda looking over the final details of their wedding night retreat. They were standing at the edge watching the glorious sunset, with his arms wrapped around her. His chin was resting on her shoulder and her arms were wrapped over top of his. Both of them were contemplative and had been so busy the last few weeks this was the first time either had actually had time to think. She heard him clear his throat and say, "Tash, are you nervous? I mean, I have to admit I am. I mean, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, but at the same time I'm a bit nervous about marriage. It's such a huge committment. I'm not one of those guys who thinks 'Oh if it doesnt work out we'll get a divorce.' That would be like an amputation to me and an unsuccessful one at that. I dont think I would be able to cut you out of my soul. I never thought I would be nervous, but I am." His voice was muffled by the wind that flowed around them but she smiled without turning. "Yes, I am. But it's the nervous anxiety that precedes an eagely anticipated event. I just want to make it through the next 2 days without pulling all of my hair out and murdering anyone!" She turned to look at him with a grin to glimpse that lovely smile of his playing across his face. "I think maybe that is it. I am nervous more about the ceremony than the marriage itself. Cant exactly go back and do retakes of it can we?" He giggled, causing her to giggle in return. Tasha sobered and touched his face lightly with the tip of her index finger. "Now, Mr. Crowe since we will not see each other again after tomorrow morning, I think we need to make up for the time we will be losing tomorrow night, if you know what I mean." She winked at him. Tradition was that the bride and groom could not see each other the day of the wedding so tomorrow they were going to be sleeping in seperate areas of the villa. That way they would not see each other the day of the wedding until her father escorted her into the chamber. "I think that is an absolutely wonderful idea, m'lady!" He said as he hoisted her over his shoulder. She laughed and struggled playfully to free herself as he carried her inside to the master bedchamber. Tossing her gently onto the bed, he began a fervent exploration of her body. Her sighs filled the room as his mouth roamed her body freely and unchecked. As he entered her, he wrapped her legs around him and drove mercilessly into her. His hands pinched and teased her nipples as his mouth devoured her neck and throat. Their climax was full and complete. Afterward, they both threw on robes and creeped down to the kitchen to pull one of the extra fruit bowls out of the refrigerator. Tip-toeing back up to the room, they spent a good deal of time that night making leisurely love and feeding each other. The next day was spent in hectic final preparations and they had little time to see each other. They parted late in the evening to kisses and mutual expressions of love. Neither one slept much that night in their seperate bedchambers. Even knowing Russ was in the villa did little to console Tasha's mind as she tossed and turned. Finally, after a few hours of restlessness, she was able to catch some sleep. Russ was having the same problem on the other side of the villa. Both managed to sleep about 4 hours before dawn's rosy fingers began to stretch into the awakening sky. The day was upon them. |
