name is Khieu Kimlee. I was born in Pursat province
of Cambodia. I am a Medical Doctor (MD). There are 3 people
in my family - my mother, father, and me. My parents now
live in Krakor district, Pursat province. I graduated from
the University of health sciences as the field of medicine,
in December 2001. I am the 23rd generation of medical school
in Cambodia.
I started working for CARE
Cambodia (International organization) in March, 2002 as a
field officer. I resigned from in January 2005, because I
had to continue my study for Master degree. In the later

In July 2004, I went to
Thailand for attending the HIV/AIDS Conference in Bangkok.
This was my first time to be abroad. I went there by car
from Koh Kong province of Cambodia. At that time I was a
component manager of maternal and child health in both Smach
Meanchey and Sre Ambel. I went there under the supporting of
CARE Cambodia. I stayed in one hotel along Sakhumwai, it is
called Sakhumwai Hotel about 35 km from the conference
arena. I learnt a lot about the conference. It was very
useful and important for me and my project.
By
the end of August 2004, I got the scholarship from Australia
association, called ASHM (Australasia Society for HIV
Medicine). I went there to attend the HIV short-course and
conference. This was my first time to travel alone by
airplane without knowing the basic of need.
I went to attend the
conference in Canberra, Australia, but I had to change the
plane in Hanoi, Vietnam and Sydney. The day I arrived in
Australia, it started to the winter. It was very cold. This
was my first experience living in the cold country. There
were many people from different countries. So I could talk
and go out with them to find the place to eat.
In July 2005, I arrived in
Japan to pursue my master degree in Medical administration.
I first arrived in
Cansai airport of OSAKA. I stayed there for 14 days, then I
moved to Nagoya. In Nagoya, I had to study Japanese course
for 1.5 months in order to communicate with Japanese people
and learn about their culture. Please see my
pictures album.
From 6 Aug to 7 Aug, 2005, I
participated in Home-stay with Japanese named OGAWA.
They were very kind and helpful. They took care of me very
good and enjoyable. Please see
my Picture Album. I
was took to see many places in Nagoya such as Nagoya castle,
HIPPO family club, AICHI Expo, and so on.
The picture on your right

very happy and enjoyable both the sitting style and
