Castello di Rossena, February 15th, 2004
These are a few shots from Alle's and my tour of Castello di Rossena, an ancient castle located in the Reggio Emilia Appennines, close to the town of Canossa. The castle itself is quite well-maintained, and today is a tourist site and hostel. It has no small amount of significance in the history of Italy, as well.
These shots were taken just as we reached the base of the castle itself. It was a bit of a climb, but not too much (even for me). All the same, I needed a small rest, and while Alle and I sat on a bench, I turned and saw this view. Naturally, I took a picture or two...
