About Kimberley

This is our daughter Kimberley, she was born on December 4th, 2003. With the exception of Kimberley's diagnosis, we feel that we have been absolutely blessed by God for letting us have her. She is sweet, funny, smart, and irresistibly adorable (as you can see from her picture). Each day she grows smarter and funnier, and more aware of the world around her. She is an incredibly precious 21 month old! She is always smiling, talking or just plain having fun; she is super content just being held and cuddled and can always make someone smile. She already can count from one to ten and knows all her alphabet cards!!

SSMA has been a big part of her life and she doesn't even know it. She has lost the ability to bear weight on her legs, stand, move around in a walker, and lift items above her head. She has never rolled over, been able to sit up, or crawl. Despite this, her beautiful, creative mind is not affected at all. She loves books and is very smart for her age!
