DEAR CHILD IN HEAVEN~

You were a blessing to us all
you were a special child.
And we're so glad God sent you
to be with us awhile.
You filled our home with happiness
and made our life complete.
The time we had with you
was far too short, but oh so sweet.
Some things we don't find easy
to accept or understand.
Until we realize they're part of
our Creator's perfect plan.
Now it comforts us to know
you're with the angels up above.
While in our hearts we hold you close
Surrounded by our love.
Christopher Stueber was born July 29th, 1983. A perfectly healthy baby, so we thought. Before his first birthday
he was diagnosed with infantile spinal muscular atrophy, or Werding Hoffman (Type I SMA).
He was an angel given to us by God to help us see what life can hold and bring forth for you
To appreciate what you have, while you have it and to never give up.
He never let his physical disability get in his way. He did just as much as any other child, it just took longer.
The only handicap he has was what other people gave him.
His dream was to be able to help others that had similar problems and be able to find a cure for them.
We had a walk-a-thon in his honor, which he graciously hosted. He was a very bright and smiling child who
would greet you anytime. He passed away September 27th, 1989.
He will always be an inspiration, and the fighting spirit which he held will never die.
He is sadly missed by his family and friends, but the
special angel that he is hovers near us forever
