| This page will tell you sum stuffs you need to know about counterstrike, to become the best player you can be! Well, maybe not better than me, becuase everyone knows im tha best! (j/p) |
| Counterstrike Tips and hints |
| Bunnyhopping: You can bunnyhop in counterstrike to dodge bullets better and to get somewhere faster. To bunnyhop correctly, first you need to press W to run forward. Then press spacebar to jump and then move your mouse slightly to the left, about 45 degrees. Then, jump again and then move your mouse exactly 90 degrees from that position, and keep doing this back and fourth. You will go more faster, and you can kno if you did it right if your going past all of your teammates or if you can see yourself on their screen how you look funny when you jump up in the air. |
| Situations: In counterstrike, you will encounter many situations. When you find another enemy, normally, you would shoot at each other like crazy. In order for you to have a better chance to win, then you need to duck, and aim for the enemies head. Remember, swiftness is always the key to victory. |
| This actually depends on what gun you have and the distance you are from the enemy. For example, if your using an MP5NAVY, which is the gun I always use and usually win with, then no matter if their far away or close just aim for them and shoot like crazy, they will eventually die. If your using an AK47, then fire 2-3 quick shots at the enemy, becuase if you fire like crazy, almost all of the bullets will miss. |
| Money: When you start off any game, you can make it start with lots of money or little money. Go to the console and type in "ms_money 16000" so you will start with 16000, which is the most you can get. |
| Console Commands |
| Here are some commands you can type into the console. Most commands will only work if your the owner of the room, meaning your the one who created it. To go to the console, you need to be in the game and press ~ |
| Changing your screenname: If you think your screenname is a piece of shit, you can change it. Just go to the console and type in "name <your name>" |
| Kicking: If you hate someone that is in your game, their sniping and you dont want them to, or any other reason, you can kick them out of your game. Go to the console and type in "kick <their screenname>". If you dont know what their screenname is exactly, then type in "listplayers" to make sure. |
| Gravity: You can play the game so you can jump up really high or die when you just jump a little. Type in "sv_gravity 100". 100 will let u jump up really high, and is the funnest. 600 i think is the default. You can pick any number. |
