| So many people try to blend in. Look around you. Pay attention to everything. Who would you normally overlook and avoid? Why? Think about the reasons why you would overlook and avoid them. Try to relate it to yourself: |
| I normally overlook this person because they are so quiet and their clothes are plain. If I were like that, it would probably because I did not have much self esteem or I would avoid him because he is all in black. Sure, his face seems lonely, rather friendly, but his body language doesn't. I wonder if I were to dress all in black, how would I seem and feel? Maybe he just needs a friend but is afraid of people because of past hurts... etc etc |
| WARNING: Do not get too presumptuous when attemting to realise why you overlook people... What you are thinking may not be the truth! It could just be those darn voices in your head that will not go away until you surrender.. (hey, I heard that!) Do not stick to those ideas you have put into your own head. (Or the ideas that the other part of you made you think...) Maybe go and invite that person out for coffee; get to know them. You don't realise what great friendships you could be missing! (Yeah! And join with those voices! Become one! Surrender to them...) Oh Shush!! I already surrendered, GO AWAY!!!!!! (Hmph!) |
