| Dermot Mc Loughlin was born in Kildare. He joined the army in 1947 serving with an Irish speaking Battalion in Renmore, Galway. He joined the Cadet School in 1950 and retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 1987. He was renowned athlete and musician holding the all-army 110 yard record. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
