MC LOUGHLIN ON THE WEB

AUGUST DAYS IN SYDNEY
The first stint of our year away is over. After one month touring in Asia and six months working on and off in Sydney ............  it is time to move on and see a bit of the country.
I've worked in banks (Westpac and Colonial First State), worked for the Government (Attorney General's Department) and not done any work at all, while Natasha has worked in Westpac, ING  and HSBC.

We've enjoyed the nightlife, lived in a tenement the size of our bathroom in Ireland, we got to see the Barber of Seville - Rossini's great Spanish Opera in Italian and the highlight of the year ... the Corrs!
I turned 29, Natasha turned 27. Natasha says it's more like I've turned 69 but I'm keeping my hair short to hide the grey hairs the sun and age have encouraged.

We've got to see that the Australians love their sport and sun and the great Australian lifestyle. We've learned that this is not the great multi cultural Utopia that it is cracked up to be - it is more like the great American melting pot waiting to boil over.... and if it ever does .....
