April 20th: John Olerud came through to help the M's beat the angels 7-6. April 19th: The Angels come back to beat the M's 7-6. April 18th: Jamie Moyer gets his 100th win as an M, as the M's win 8-2 against Anaheim. April 17th: Redeeming himself, Mark McLemore gets a 10th inning game winning hit. 4-3 M's. April 16th: The A's beat the M's 4-1. April 15th: Edgar ignites a rally in the 7th inning to help the Ms win 5-3 against Oakland. April 14th: Jeff Cirillo gets the game winning HR against the A's as the M's win 4-3. April 13th: Boonie hits a 13th inning walk off homer against the Rangers as the M's win 4-3. April 12th: Bret Boone hits two homeruns as the Mariners take charge and score 6 runs in the first inning en route to a 13-4 win against Texas capturing first place in the AL West. April 11th: Another 4-2 loss against Texas. April 10th: The Mariners are shutout 3-0 by the Angels. April 9th: Anaheim beats the Mariners 5-1. April 8th: The Mariners win their home opener 5-0 against Anaheim. April 6th: The M's win 11-2 against Texas. April 5th: Texas beats the M's 8-4. April 4th: The M's break .500 with a 6-4 win against the Rangers. April 3rd: The Mariners win their first game of the season7-6 against the A's. April 2nd: Mariners lose to Oakland 8-3. April 1st: The Mariners lose their season opener 0-5 against Oakland. March 21st: Norm Charlton has been released by the Mariners since he is having surgery again and will be unable to pitch. They offered him a job in player development. March 19th: The Mariners season opener against Oakland in Japan has been cancelled due to the war in Iraq. The games have been re-scheduled for April 3rd, and June 30th. January 18th: The M's have signed Carlos Guillen and Randy WInn for one year contracts, avoiding arbitration. They also recently signed GReg COlburn to relieve John Olerud at first base. December 29th: Shows how much I know! Lou left after all and went to manage Tampa Bay. In return, the Mariners got outfielder Randy Winn. They then hired Bob Melvin as the new manager. John Moses, Gerald Perry and Matt SInatro left the team as well. The M's have re-signed Shigetoshi Hasegawa, Jamie Moyer, Dan WIlson and John Olerud this offseason, keeping the same infield as last year. The M's and Edgar also agreed to a 1 year contract. Uhmm.. not much else has been happening! October 4th: Lou Piniella will remain the M's manager for the 2003 season.. even though he never said he wasn't going to. The Mariners also met with Edgar, Dan Wilson and Jamie Moyer. Them and John Olerud have all expressed that they want to return to Seattle! :-) September 29th: Willie got 3 RBI's and Davis hit a 3-run homerun but the M's lose 7-6 to the Angels on their final game of the season. What am I going to do from now until March? (G) Don't worry M's fans.. I will continue to update my site (probably more than I did during the season! Lol!!) September 28th: The Mariners lost to Anaheim 8-4. Scott Podsednik got his first ML Homerun!! September 27th: EEEEDGAR!! Edgar hit a homerun in the top of the 12th as the Mariners beat Anaheim 7-6. Bret Boone had to leave the game because of his heel. They were winning 6-3 in the 9th inning, but Anaheim came back to tie it, taking win number 17 away from Freddy. I think it's safe to say that is the last time we will see his hat! (G) 300 wins in the past three seasons for the M's!! September 26th: UNfortunately Texas couldn't hold their own against Anaheim and lost, so the M's are out. The M's were winning 2-1 in the 9th, but Kaz gave up a HR to Miggy and the A's eventually won in extra innings. But hey, 92 wins aint to shabby! Lou's suspended for tomorrow's game. September 25th: CAMMY!! Again, the M's are Stayin' ALive!! Once again the M's rallied back in the 8th inning as Cammy hit a 2 run homer to win the game 3-2!! Ya gotta believe!! The M's have won 92 games, the second highest in the history of the M's. Happy B-day Joel!! the big 2-4!! Septeber 24th: The M's keep the Angles from clinching by beating Oakland in the 8th inning by a score of 8-7. The M's were down like 7-2 and rallied in the 7th and 8th to come back. Willie Bloomquist, Bret Boone and Scott Podsednik came up with big hits in the 8th to win. September 22nd: Willie Bloomquist had 4 hits ad the M's beat the Angels 3-2. September 21th: A 6 run inning keeps the Mariners playoff hope alive as they beat the Angels 6-4. September 20th: The M's lose to the Angels 8-1 September 19th: Another extra inning game! This time Kazu blows it in the 10th. 12-7 Texas. September 18th: Extra innings again! Won by Ruben in the top of the 10th. September 17th: Another extra inning game won by Carlos GUillen in the top of the 10th! September 16th: The M's win 6-5 in the 11th inning against the Rangers. July 27th: Edgar hit a 2-run homerun, as the Mariners went on to beat Anaheim 3-1 and regain first place in the AL West. July 26th: The Angels beat the Mariners 8-0 and are now tied with the M's for first place in the west. July 25th: The mariners beat Texas 7-2, Ichiro added a solo homerun. July 24th: The M's lose 4-3 against Texas. July 23rd: John Olerud hit a 2-run double to help the Mariners win 3-1 against the Rangers. July 21st: The Mariners had a 5-1 lead, but lose 7-5 to Anaheim and get swept. :-( July 20th: The Mariners had a 4-1 lead, but end up losing 7-6 against the Angels. July 19th: Freddy gets roughed up and lose 15-3 to the Halos. Luis Ugeto hit his first ML homerun! July 18th: The Mariners beat Texas 5-3. July 17th: The Mariners win against Texas 6-3. July 16th: Baltimore beats the Mariners 6-1. July 15th: The Mariners lose to Baltimore 6-5. July 14th: The Mariners pull out a 7-6 win over Tampa Bay. July 13th: Stupid Tampa bay wins 4-3 in a close game July 12th: The Mariners squeek out a 2-1 win against the Drays. July 11th: The Mariners shutout Tampa Bay 4-0. July 9th: The All Star Game ends in a 7-7 11-inning tie. Ichiro was robbed of a hit, Kaz gave up a couple runs, and Freddy was one of the 2 pitchers pitching at the end of the game. July 8th: Jason Giambi wins the homerun derby. Sammy Sosa put on a great show though! JUly 7th: The M's beat Minnesota 8-2. July 6th: The Mariners lose 7-2 against the Twins. July 5th: The Mariners give up a lead and lose 8-4. July 4th: The M's win 2-1 against the Twins. JUly 3rd: The M's shutout KC 3-0 July 2nd: The Mariners lose 7-5 against KC in the 9th inning! Grrr.. July 1st: The M's lay a whooping to the Royals 7-0. |
