Small aperture provides even illumination


But see what starts to happen if I try larger apertures.


a larger aperture used in a Kiev60 can cause problems


The sides of my iris hexagon are now being slightly covered by the side and top of the frame.


When we open the aperture all the way see how things look now with respect to the corners.
This is not good at all.

From the corners point of view it is now receiving less light than a more central position on the negative.
