Themes for the month of Dec.:Dr. Seuss, Snow snow snow, Here comes Santa Clause, and Winter Wonderland.
During the months of Novemeber and Decemeber many celebrations and traditions are recognized. We will briefly cover the following holidays:
Nov. 4 Diwali-A Hindu and Buddhist festival of lights.
Nov. 29-Dec 6 Hanukkah-A Jewish tradition.
Dec. 25 Christmas-A Christian Tradition.
Dec. 26-Jan. 1 Kwanzaa-An African Celebration.
All of these holidays celebrate the season of lights and remind us that we have much in common. Of course we wont forget Thanksgiving in November, we will be celebrating what we are thankful for.
REMINDER: We will be closed on Thanksgiving day and the friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Have a happy holiday!!
