COSTS

I provide midwifery care "donation" basis. It is my goal to serve you well and provide excellent care. I trust that you, in turn, will pay a fair amount for your prenatal, birth, and postpartum care. I have given you information below regarding the "going rate" for these services in our area.

Midwifery Care for Homebirth - includes all prenatal care, standard lab tests, birth and postpartum care - local rates range from $2600 to $3500+. I do ask that a $400 nonrefundable deposit be paid when you select me as your midwife, which partially covers costs I incur in the course of your care (lab tests, supplies, etc.). You will need to have paid at least an additional $1500 prior to your birth in order to cover the basic costs of birth.  It works well if you pay $100+ at each prenatal and postpartum visit. However, it is fine to pay in one or two alotments, too!  I would love to provide my midwifery care for free ... but, the reality is that is not feasible. \ PLEASE NOTE: I am open to bartering arrangements.  When it comes down to it, I want to see that you get the care you desire. (I am no longer providing doula care or childbirth education classes outside of my midwifery practice. If you are looking for these services, please contact me and I will refer you to someone else.)
