BO DUKE

Beauregard "Bo"  Duke is the youngest of the three Duke cousins. He's 6'2", taller and leaner than his older cousin Luke. He's blonde haired and blue eyed and is usually seen wearing the same pale yellow shirt and blue jeans (and of course the ever present belt). Sometimes he wears a blue T-shirt under the yellow.
Bo's usually the Duke driving the General Lee. He's an excellent driver, even went on to become a NASCAR driver after leaving Hazzard. He'll jump the General over anything and has been known to jump over the General's roof (that boy is always walkin' all over that car, and anybody else's for that matter).
Bo isn't known for his smarts but he does manage to come up with a few plans of his own. As previously mentioned, he's a good driver and is pretty mean with his bow and arrows too. Bo's got a quick temper but is usually quick to get over it too.
Bo's a very charming guy and very good with the ladies (isn't every Duke?). Him and his kin are always very quick to help anyone in need. Bo's also very protective of his family, God help anyone who messes with his uncle, cousins or friends. He gets very upset when something happens to someone he loves.
Bo can usually be found in or near the General Lee somewhere within the Hazzard County line and answers to the name "Lost Sheep #2" on the Hazzard net.

Lookin' good!
          LUKE DUKE
Lukas "Luke" Duke is the eldest of the three cousins. He's dark haired and blue eyed, 6' tall and stockier than his lightly built cousin, Bo. He's usually seen wearing a blue plaid shirt and blue jeans, with a belt. Sometimes he wears a jean jacket.
Luke don't drive quite as often as Bo but he's still a pretty good driver. He's more known for his brilliant plans and his stunning slides across the hood of the General. Luke's also usually the one to jump from vehicle to vehicle and climb in and out of the General while they flew down the backroads of Hazzard County (it's funny, but every time I saw one of them fall because the rope broke or something like that, it was always Bo. Maybe that's why Luke did all the stunts).
Luke's the cousin with the brains. He's an ex-marine and like Bo, used to drive shine for Jesse before they were caught. Luke has a brother named Judd Caine.
Luke is a very rational person, unlike his rather impatient cousin, Bo. Luke has been known to get angry but his temper isn't quite as explosive as Bo's.
Luke can usually be found in the General or close by it and usually goes by the name of "Lost Sheep #1" on the CB.
The Duke cousins and honourary cousin, Cooter
                          JESSE DUKE

Well, ol' Jesse Duke is the patriarch of the Duke family in Hazzard County and he leads his niece and his nephews with a firm but gentle hand. He used to be a ridgerunner, runnin' some of the best shine in the country- his own. But since his boys, Bo and Luke, got caught runnin' shine and he made a deal with the feds to keep the boys outta jail, he hasn't made no more shine for nobody (except for the family's "medicinal" purposes of course).
Uncle Jesse took in Bo, Luke and Daisy after their parents died (it was never mentioned how they died.....) and he raised them to be neighbourly and always help those in need, no matter who they are. Of course this often gets the boys and the whole family in trouble with the law and with the outlaws.
Uncle Jesse is a big man, at 6'2 and is always seen in a pair of jean overalls and is usually wearing a bright red ball cap. He drives a beatup old white pick up truck but has been known to drive both Daisy's jeep and the boys' General Lee, as well as his own shine running car, Black Tilly. Jesse is still one of the best drivers in the county and can shuck and jive a queen bee out of her honey if he has to. On the Hazzard net, he usually goes by the name of "Sheperd" but has also been called "Uncle Sheperd" by either of his charges.
       DAISY DUKE

Daisy Duke is Jesse's only neice (that we know of). She sometimes acts like a blonde despite her brown hair, but she really is quite smart. She's often wearing clothes that make the men around go wild- tight shirts, high heels and her "Daisy Duke" shorts.
Daisy works at Hazzard's only bar, The Boar's Nest, to help support the farm and to help pay for the General. She's been known to overhear some pretty shady deals from Boss Hogg's office and always relays this information to her cousins, Bo and Luke, cause usually it's what they need to clear themselves. Daisy's also been known to help the boys out when they're searching for something through the roads of Hazzard County or when they just need a pretty face for a distraction. She's also a pretty good driver and can put together an engine faster than any other female in the region.
Daisy's tall with legs that make up most of that height (for all you guys out there). She can usualy be seen driving her yellow Roadrunner (?)  or her new jeep, Dixie (that's after the boys drove her car off a cliff) and if you ever need help with fashion, she's the Duke to see. You can usually find her at the Boar's Nest or home on the farm and goes by the name of "Bo Peep" on the CB.
Who do you think's gonna win?
THE DUKES OF HAZZARD
THE PEOPLE OF
HAZZARD COUNTY

The people of Hazzard County are, in general, friendly, kind and generous. But, like all places, there are a few bad apples too. Hazzard also seems to attract more than its fair share of criminals.

The Law:

THE LAW
                   J.D. "BOSS" HOGG
J.D. "Boss" Hogg is the number one bad guy of the county. If there's a crime being commited you could bet that either Boss is in on it or he's looking to be.
Boss is greedy. He'd do anything for money, even cheat his old friend, Jesse Duke. At one time, Boss and Jesse were partners in the shine business but now a days they're usually on the opposite sides of the conflicts. Because Boss is usually profiting off of someone elses misfortunes and more often than not planning to frame Bo and Luke for the crime he's commiting, the Dukes usually try to stop his evil schemes before someone gets hurt.
Despite his never ending need to make money (and lots of it) Boss can usually be counted on to help out Hazzard when some outsider threatens his town. He's even been known to help the Dukes out on occasion. He's also a tried and true ridgerunner, bound by the code. He'll never break a promise sealed with spit or blood, even if it is to a Duke.
Boss Hogg's favourite past-time, besides making money, is eating. He's almost never seen without food in his hand or a cigar in his mouth. He's always seen in a pristine white suit and usually never gets dirty. He has his own chauffered convertible (white of course) and is the only main character in the show who is married.
           SHERIFF ROSCOE P. COLTRANE
Roscoe P. Coltrane is the dumb but loveable sheriff of Hazzard County. Rumour has it he used to be a pretty good lawman but now, under Boss Hogg's influence, he's more crooked than a mountain road. The fact that Boss Hogg married Roscoe's sister doesn't really help either.
Roscoe's not all that bright. As Cooter put it, Roscoe's elevator  "don't quite make it to the top floor". He also ain't too talented as a driver. I'm sorry to all you Roscoe fans out there but it's the truth. Roscoe can't drive nails. He is, however, particularily adept at landing his patrol cars in awkward and unusual places, such as in trees or on top of other patrol cars. I guess that's talent of a sort. And I must admit that it isn't Roscoe that Bo and Luke usually trick into letting them out of jail. He left that distinction to Cletus.
Still, all in all, I guess Roscoe ain't all that bad. He's got a real soft spot for his deputy, Enos (but not Cletus, he's just a dipstick, not a loveable one like Enos) and he's also got a sweet spot for them Duke boys (but don't tell him I said that!). I guess Roscoe is just a good ol' boy gone bad. Really, really bad.
Roscoe's also got a real soft spot for his beloved basset hound, Flash. She's a real sweetheart and spoiled rotten. She likes them Duke boys but hates Boss Hogg. Like any  good police dog, she knows a crook when she sees one. Together, Roscoe and Flash make up two thirds of the Hazzard Sheriff's Department and that ain't sayin' much.
DEPUTY ENOS STRATE
Despite being one of Roscoe's deputies, Enos is one of the Duke boys' best friends. He's a very kind and honest man who sure don't fit in with the rest of the law in Hazzard. About the only similarity between  Roscoe and Enos is that neither of them, barring any unforseen circumstances like a fallen tree or a blown tire, neither lawman can catch the Dukes.
Enos is probably the smartest deputy Hazzard ever saw. In fact, Enos is so smart, he even got hired by the LAPD! Luckily for Hazzard, Enos came back.
Enos and Daisy Duke have had a "thing" since the seventh grade. They've even had a wedding (or two) but they never managed to tie the knot. Personally, I think it's a Duke thing.
Enos Strate has got the cutest smile and is just about the nicest, most sincere person in Hazzard. No wonder he almost snagged Daisy Duke.
DEPUTY CLETUS HOGG
Listen up y'all, cause I'm only gonna say this once. Cletus is an idiot.
Cletus Hogg came onto the scene in the first season, but he wasn't a regular until Enos
left for LA and Cletus was dumbified, ah, deputized. Like his cousin, Boss Hogg,  Cletus
was often seen eating, especially  when he needed to talk on the CB. His favourite lines
include "Buzzards on a buzzsaw" and he too is used to landing his partol car in lakes and
ditches and on top of trees. Lets face it, Cletus is worse than Roscoe. He follows Boss's
orders usually because he doesn't see any wrong in them. The one good thing I can say
about Cletus is that he sure isn't hard to get away from, either in the General or in the jail
cell. He can usually be tricked into getting in the jail cell himself.
THE TOWNSFOLK
            COOTER DAVENPORT  "CRAZY C"
Cooter Davenport is the town mechanic and one of the Duke boys' best friends. After all, he's always willing to help them and often fixes the General for free (okay, so he puts it on their tab). The Dukes, in return, keep Cooter in business by keeping him supplied with broken patrol cars.
Cooter ain't called crazy for nothing. He once took the president's limo for a joy ride. But Cooter is a good ol' boy and is always there to help.
Cooter can usually be found in his garage or out on the road in his tow truck or his 4X4. He likes to cruise the Hazzard backroads too. He can often be reached on the Hazzard net (I think he came up with that phase refering to the CB net of course) under the name "Crazy C".
