| Russ Springer Inducted June 21, 2007 1) On May 16, 2006, threw 5 consecutive pitches directly at Barry Bonds, including one pitch behind Bonds and an ultimate beanball at Bonds' shoulder. Springer was ejected to a standing ovation, after which he blatantly (and hilariously) denied to the press that his actions were intentional. 2) To date, the only pitcher who's had the balls to take matters into his own hands while facing Bonds. 3) A role model to all children, and to other pitchers who faced Bonds during his classless chase for 756. |

| Congressman Cliff Stearns (R) Inducted January 9, 2009 1) Formally requested that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi postpone congressional votes scheduled for Thursday evening and Friday so that House members from Oklahoma and Florida could attend the BCS National Title Game. 2) Was dead serious. 3) Considers a football game to be of greater priority than certifying the Electoral College that gives the nation it's first African American president. |
