WWF Coliseum Matchlists

Since Coliseum put out about 15 million tapes between 1985-97, I made matchlists to help everyone out.  I've watched all of these tapes at some point, so I was nice and even provided a Grade underneath the tape to let everyone know what I thought of them.  And I was even harsh in the grading too.

Since I graded the PPVs on the site as well when I did reviews, I hope it is OBVIOUS that the Coliseum videos and normal PPVs are not graded on the same scale.  Just so you know.

Tapes are in alphabetical order, so scroll down to find what you're looking for.....

Best of In Your House  (1 hr.)

Bret Hart  vs.  Jerry Lawler     from IYH: 1 (ok match, but short....too bad they didn't put the Hakushi match on here)
Shawn Michaels  vs.  Jeff Jarrett      from IYH 2    clipped, but still about **** even though it's clipped
Marty Jannetty  vs.   Goldust     from IYH: 4 (I think)    clipped
Undertaker  vs.  Mabel     Casket Match     from IYH 4
Bret Hart  vs.  Diesel      Cage Match    from IYH 6   clipped

Grade-- C+, only two complete matches, but HBK/Jarrett is still about **** even in clipped form, so since nothing actively sucked, an above average rating

Best of WrestleMania, 1992 Columbia House version (1 hr.)

Hulk Hogan/Mr. T  vs.  Paul Orndorff/Roddy Piper      from WrestleMania 1
Randy Savage  vs.   Ted Dibiase    from WrestleMania IV
Jake Roberts  vs.  Andre the Giant      from WrestleMania....5....I think, but I don't feel like looking
WWF/NFL Football Players Battle Royal      from WrestleMania 2 I think

Grade-- D.  Decent moments I suppose, but these could be gotten almost anywhere else.  You probably only want this if you're a completist like myself.

Best of the WWF Volume 1 (2 hrs.)

Hulk Hogan/Andre the Giant  vs.  Big John Studd/Adrian Adonis/Dick Murdoch
Wendi Richter   vs.  Fabulous Moolah     Women's Title Match
Gorilla Monsoon  vs.  Baron Mike Scicluna    (I didn't know who the Jobber was previously, but my friend Pee Wee hooked me up with the name, so all credit to knowing who Baron Mike is goes to him...But this match is remembered for Muhammad Ali sitting at ringside, and when Gorilla throws the Baron outside, Ali steps in and gets his ass kicked....awesome)
Jimmy Snuka  vs.  Bobby Bass   clipped
Jimmy Snuka  vs.  Roddy Piper   (this was the match that came about after the famous coconut segment on Piper's Pit.  And as the coconut segment is right before this match, it's all good.  Not a great match, but really fun)
The Cobra  vs.  The Black Tiger     LHW Title    (this was clipped, but incredible stuff for this time period)
Hulk Hogan/Mean Gene  vs.  George Steele/Mr. Fuji
Bruno Sammartino  vs.  Larry Zbyscko     Cage Match   (pretty decent match, and tons of heat...fun match)

Grade--  B+.  Lots of good, classic stuff.  Can't go wrong here.

Best of the WWF Volume 2 (2 hrs.)

Tony Atlas/ Rocky Johnson vs.  Adrian Adonis/Dick Murdoch (Adonis and Murdoch win the titles when Adonis gets the upset pin on Johnson
Pedro Morales vs. Magnificent Muraco    Intercontinental Title (at MSG, Muraco regains the IC belt)
Pedro Morales vs. Killer Kowalski
Jamaica Kid/Billy the Kid  vs. Sky Lowlow/Little Brutus (oh yeah baby, it's MIDGET MADNESS)
Sky Lowlow/Little Brutus  vs. Joey Russel/Sunny Boy Hayes  (oh, you didn't know.....it's MORE MIDGET MADNESS)
Chief Jay Strongbow  vs. Professor Toru Tanaka
Mean Gene sings "Tutti Frutti" with Hulk Hogan on bass guitar (from TNT)
Tito Santana  vs. Paul Orndorff       Intercontiental Title Match
Miscellaneous collection of surprise endings in the WWF
Tony Garea/Rick Martel  vs.  Mr. Fuji/Mr. Saito (Fuji & Saito win tag titles)

Grade--  C, a couple solid matches but any tape with two midget matches doesn't really work for me

Best of the WWF Volume 6 (90 mins)

Terry Funk  vs.  Lanny Poffo   (Lanny busts out a fuckin moonsault....in 1985.  I was shocked.)
Hulk Hogan  vs.  Randy Savage  ***  (incredible heat, this was only their 2nd or 3rd meeting ever at the time)
Jesse Ventura on TNT
Butch Cassidy  vs.  Haiti Kid
Johnny Valiant  vs.  Ivan Putski
Ricky Steamboat  vs.  Bob Orton  (good match here)

Grade-- C+, with a few good matches and two shitty ones

Best of the WWF Volume 12  (90 min.)

Kamala vs. Ricky Steamboat
Kamala vs. Tito Santana
Big Machine/Super Machine/Piper Machine vs. Big John Studd/King Kong Bundy/Bobby Heenan
Brutus Beefcake vs. Johnny Valiant.
Gorilla Monsoon/Pedro Morales vs. Mongols
George Steele vs. Paul Orndorff
Fabulous Moolah vs. Leilani Kai
Hulk Hogan vs. Kamala

Grade-- C.  Nothing great, nothing TOO bad, but everything is solid for the most part.

Best of the WWF  Volume #13

Hulk Hogan/Koko B. Ware  vs.  Kamala/Honkytonk Man
Ricky Steamboat vs. Honkytonk Man    6/2/1987    IC Title Match  (pretty historic match that sees Honky begin his record run with the IC Title that would last 16 months!)
Debbie Combs  vs.  Fabulous Moolah    5/18/1987
Joyce Grable  vs.  Fabulous Moolah        12/16/1974
Roddy Piper Halloween Skit          10/1985
Demolition vs. The Islanders        2/23/1987
Paul Roma & Jim Powers vs. The Islanders       6/14/1987
Bret Hart vs. Raymond Rougeau       10/20/1987
Randy Savage vs. Tito Santana      12/10/1986

Best of the WWF  Volume 15

Tito Santana vs. Haku
Hart Foundation vs. Strike Force      Tag Team Title Match    (I THINK this was around ***1/4, but I can't remember for certain, it's been awhile since I've watched it...considering the teams it probably was)
King Kong Bundy vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
Leilani Kai & Judy Martin vs. Jumping Bomb Angels     WWF Women's Tag Title Match  ***1/2  (this is from Royal Rumble 1988......the Bomb Angels, for a brief period, actually made wrestling fans in North America care about women's wrestling...that is, for the actual wrestling skill, not for big tits imitating wrestling)
Wild Samoans vs. Mr. Fuji & Tiger Chung Lee
Fabulous Moolah vs. Sherri Martel        WWF Women's Title Match
Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Ted Adams
Demolition vs. Billy Jack Haynes/George Steele

Official Grade-- C+.  Nothing totally sucks, and the women's tag match is awesome, showing off stuff that the men weren't even doing in North America at the time.

Bloopers, Bleeps, and Bodyslams (2 hrs.)

Razor Ramon   vs.   Crush
Headshrinkers   vs.   Steiners
Owen Hart  vs.   Rick Martel
Yokozuna   vs.    Tatanka
Razor Ramon/Marty Jannetty   vs.   Diesel/IRS
Doink   vs.   Bam Bam Bigelow
Bret Hart   vs.   Crush
Shawn Michaels    vs.    Marty Jannetty    Intercontinental Title    Cage Match ***
Jerry Lawler   vs.    Randy Savage

Grade- C-.  HBK/Jannetty is fun, but the rest of the tape is filled with solid, but boring, wrestling.

Brawl In The Family (2 hrs.)

King Kong Bundy vs. Undertaker
Owen Hart/Jim Neidhart  vs. Men On A Mission
Jeff Jarrett vs. Diesel
Jerry Lawler vs. Doink
Bob Backlund vs. Lex Luger
Tatanka vs. Mabel (smell the buyrate for this one, ba-bee!)
Owen Hart vs. Bret Hart    No Holds Barred Match  ****1/4  (although they only had two matches against each other on PPV, Bret and Owen had pretty much every type of match in 94 if you just look for them.  This is a No Holds Barred Match, but it mostly stays inside the ring.....alot of parallels with Bret's match against Lawler at Summerslam, although Owen is alot more talented than Lawler and they do more stuff.....same finish though, as Bret gets the Sharpshooter and holds onto it for about 5 minutes after Owen submits)
1993 Fan Fest
King Kong Bundy vs. Razor Ramon (what the fuck?!?!  Bundy twice on the same tape after 1985?)
Bret Hart vs.  1-2-3 Kid   ***1/2

Grade--  A-, two great Bret matches and a few other solid outings make for a very good tape, FF through Bundy though.

Bret "Hitman" Hart, '94 Coliseum (about 2 hrs 30 min)

Bret Hart vs. Jerry Lawler (really stupid finish as Lawler wins but is called back, then Bret gets the pin)
Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels (never thought I'd see a match this poor between these two, then to top it off, Owen interferes to try to help Bret and Bret loses by DQ.....this is the first time I've ever seen a guy lose two matches ON HIS OWN TAPE!!!)
Bret Hart vs. Curt Hennig  (Finish only, Summerslam 91, Bret wins IC Title)
Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels  (JIP with about a minute left, same ladder match as on the Smack Em Whack Em tape)
Bret Hart vs. Ric Flair  (match finish, again, the same COMPLETE match is on the Smack Em Whack Em tape)
Bret Hart vs. IRS
Bret Hart vs. Adam Bomb
Bret Hart vs. Kwang (what's the sound of a ton of shit hitting the fan?? KWANG!!!)
Bret Hart vs. Razor Ramon  Finish only, King of the Ring 93 1st Round (showing how much Coliseum was paying attention when they made this tape, the graphic on the screen for all the KOTR highlights say it's KOTR 94 instead of 93.....jackasses)
Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect  Finish only, Semi-finals KOTR 93
Bret Hart vs. Bam Bam Bigelow   Finish, Finals, KOTR 93
Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels   Cage Match (excellent match, but weird, since MANY of the spots in this match were later used in the Summerslam 94 Cage Match with Owen.....this match even has the same finish, Shawn's leg gets stuck in the cage and Bret drops down to win it)
Bret Hart vs. Yokozuna   Wrestlemania X, Bret wins 2nd title

Grade--  D, being a Bret mark some things bring back some good memories, but objectively this tape really sucks.  No complete matches as everything is either clipped or JIP.  The Shawn match is the only thing that redeems keeps this from an F.

Bret "Hitman" Hart, '97 Coliseum (1 hr.)

Bret Hart  vs.  Steve Austin   clipped from Survivor Series 1996  (the original went 29 minutes, and it's clipped down to about 17 minutes)
Bret Hart  vs.  Owen Hart    clipped from 11/25/1996  (as I remember this was about a **** match, but it's horribly clipped down, so whatever)
Bret Hart  vs.  Sid     clipped from IYH 12: It's Time
Bret interview, 12/16/1996 (I swear to God....watching this tape, you can just fuckin TELL that they were setting up Bret as a heel....there's just that subtle negative slant to it.  Bret was still a face....but they were setting him.  It's long gone, and I'm not dwelling on it....I'm just pointing it out here)
Bret Hart  vs.  Vader   clipped, night before Royal Rumble 1997   (Bret's 2nd loss on tape, BTW)
Bret Hart "You Start The Fire" music video   (wow....how much shit can they shove onto a single one hour tape?)

Grade-- D-.  Wow.  No complete matches, Bret losing ON HIS OWN TAPE....the only thing that saves this one from an F is the 17 minutes of Survivor Series against Austin.  You want this one ONLY if you are Bret completist and must have everything that's ever been produced for him.

HBK Heartbreak Express Tour (2 hrs.)
**(this tape had such potential, but I'll warn everyone that there is not a complete match on this whole damn tape.ARGH!!!)

Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart  Highlights of the IronMan Match, Michaels wins WWF title for 1st time
Shawn Michaels vs. Diesel   from IYH: 7 Good Friends Better Enemies (just brutally BRUTALLY clipped)
Shawn Michaels vs. British Bulldog from IYH 8: Beware of Dog
Shawn Michaels vs. Vader    Summerslam 96
Shawn Michaels vs. Mankind  from IYH 10: Mind Games (once again MERCILESSLY clipped here, basically 1st minute and last minute of the match are shown....oh and the 10 minutes it takes for entrances...God forbid we don't have entrances in order to fit the WHOLE FUCKIN MATCH ON THE DAMN TAPE!!!!)
Shawn Michaels vs. Sid  from Survivor Series 96
Shawn Michaels vs. Sid  from Survivor Series 97, Shawn's 2nd title

Grade--  F, everything is terribly clipped and what I did see didn't exactly thrill me.  As always, this is just one guy's opinion, so if you're a Shawn mark and want some good memories, you might enjoy it.

HBK: Greatest Matches (1 hr.)
(note--I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure that all of these matches are clipped and I don't feel like watching the tape again to find out)

Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon    Ladder Match from Summerslam 1995
Shawn Michaels vs. Yokozuna
Shawn Michaels vs. Tatanka
Highlights of Royal Rumble '96
Shawn Michaels vs. Owen Hart    In Your House 6

Grade--  C.  No complete matches, but nothing offensive= an acceptable tape.

History of the Intercontinental Title (1 hr. 40 mins.)

Randy Savage  vs.  Ricky Steamboat   JIP from WrestleMania III
Pat Patterson  vs.  Dominic Denucci
Pat Patterson  vs.  Ken Patera  ***
Ken Patera  vs.  Pedro Morales
Pedro Morales  vs.  Don Muraco
Don Muraco  vs.  Pedro Morales
Don Muraco  vs.  Pedro Morales    Texas Death Match   (this is a Texas Death Match on top of the fact that it's for the IC Title....my question, WHY?!?!?!   This is 3 straight matches with these guys, and they ALL sucked!)
Pedro Morales  vs.  Don Muraco   (oops, spoke too soon....FOUR straight matches....although this one wasn't half bad)
--some clips of a few title changes involving Muraco, Santana, and Valentine
Greg Valentine  vs.  Tito Santana
Greg Valentine  vs.  Tito Santana
Greg Valentine  vs.  Tito Santana
Tito Santana  vs.  Randy Savage
Tito Santana  vs.  Randy Savage   (and this one brings us full circle to the beginning of the tape as Savage Cheats To Win!)

Official Grade-- C.  It depends on what you want the tape for...for the wrestling, this is a pretty shitty offering and the grade should be lower.  However, if you want it for the historical value, it gives a pretty good overview of the IC Title picture from 1979-1987 and you could bump it up.  I went with the grade in the middle.

Hulkamania 6

??/??/91 Hulk Hogan vs. The Undertaker
??/??/91 Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, & Brutus Beefcake workout
10/13/89 Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Savage
04/13/90 Hulk Hogan vs. Stan Hansen
04/05/86 Hulk Hogan vs. King Kong Bundy in a “steel cage” match
??/??/91 Hulk Hogan vs. General Adnan
03/23/91 Hulk Hogan vs. WWF Champion Sgt. Slaughter
??/??/91 Hulk Hogan & Jim Duggan vs. Sgt. Slaughter & Col. Mustafa

The Immortal Hulk Hogan (1 hr.)
(note--you can check out my review as well byclicking here)

Hulk Hogan vs. Mr. Perfect
Hogan/Piper  vs.  Ric Flair/Sid Justice *** (very good tag match....Flair's performance here carries this thing, even though the other guys DID bring their working shoes with them)
Hulk Hogan vs. Ted Dibiase w/Zeus  (this is the 3rd straight good match on this tape....nothing to sneeze at when we're talking about The Minister of Orangeness)
Hulk Hogan  vs.  Typhoon   (and then you have this match, which drags suckitude down to a new level)

Grade-- B+,  Typhoon match aside, this is a great tape....I was actually wishing it was longer the first time I ever watched it.

Inside the Steel  Cage   (90 min)

Andre the Giant  vs.  Big John Studd    JIP, finish   (JIP sure, but the ending is all you really need....HOLY SHIT!)
Andre the Giant  vs.  Kamala        JIP, finish
Jimmy Snuka  vs.  Magnificent Muraco      Intercontinental Title Match (yes, this is the famous match, and yes, you CAN see Mick Foley in about the 3rd row)
Tito Santana/Bruno Sammartino  vs.  Randy Savage/Adrian Adonis   ***  (good match, lots of heat, Savage bleeds alot)
Tito Santana  vs.  Greg Valentine     Intercontinental Title Match
Bruno Sammartino  vs.  George The Animal Steele    World Title Match  (I about choked when Gorilla said this match took place "20 years ago"...there is NO WAY that this match is that old)
Bruno Sammartino  vs.  Roddy Piper
Bob Backlund  vs.  Pat Patterson     World Title Match
Hulk Hogan  vs.   King Kong Bundy    World Title Match (from WrestleMania II)

Official Grade-  B+, lots of good solid wrestling and cool moments

Inside the WWF  (app. 2 hrs)

Undertaker vs. Crush
Razor Ramon / Marty Jannetty vs. Shawn Michaels / Diesel
Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Tatanka
Bret Hart vs. Atom Bomb
Randy Savage vs. Doink the Clown
Razor Ramon vs. Ludvig Borga
Shawn Michaels vs. Lex Luger
Bret Hart vs. Yokozuna -Steel Cage match

Grade--  C, a few decent matches and a few shitty ones, but nothing totally offensive to the average wrestling fan.

Invasion '92 (2 hrs.)

Hulk Hogan vs. Typhoon
Bret Hart  vs.  Ric Flair  ****1/4   Intercontinental Title  (Great match.....I liked this one alot better than Bret's world title win on Smack 'Em, Whack 'Em, this one is a great back and forth fast paced contest, although the lame ending sucks the huge fat one)
Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair  ***1/2  (Flair goes 2 for 2 on this tape, both guys are on their game here....this coulda been ****1/2-***** territory if not for the ending, as Shawn is legitimately hurt and rolls outside, and Marty Jannetty comes out to pick up Shawn and literally carry him back into the ring and Flair immediately pins Shawn.....about a minute into the match, check out Shawn's adjustment from a flying crossbody from the top, into a sunset flip, while still in mid-air.....absolutely MUST be seen to be believed)
Legion of Doom vs. Beverly Brothers    Tag Team Title Match
Tito Santana  vs. Ted DiBiase  (Sherri is Dibiase's manager here and wears the Manager Cam...kinda stupid, some funny moments though)
Big Bossman vs. Hercules
Virgil vs. Ted DiBiase  w/Savage as special ref
Randy Savage/Jim Duggan  vs.  Jake Roberts/Undertaker

Grade--  A, two great matches from Flair and everything else is solid.

Invasion of the Bodyslammers (appr. 2 hrs.)

Yokozuna vs. Earthquake
Beverly Brothers vs. Nasty Boys
Razor Ramon vs. Undertaker
Typhoon vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart (isn't it amazing that no matter how badly a Coliseum video sucked, they always made sure to throw in a Bret or Shawn match, or both against each other, to makesure the workrate of the tape didnt TOTALLY suck??)
Doink vs. Kamala
Papa Shango vs. Undertaker
Battle Royal
Tatanka vs. Repo Man
Ric Flair vs. Mr. Perfect ***1/2

Grade-- B, a few very good matches outweight the couple bad ones, enjoyable enough tape

Monday Night RAW Prime Cuts (2 hrs.)

Shawn Michaels vs. Marty Jannetty (this was Meltzer's MOTY for 1993...don't know about that, but still about ****1/2)
123 Kid vs. Razor Ramon
Doink vs. Mr. Perfect
IRS vs. PJ Walker
Crush vs. Yokozuna
Steiners vs. Ouebecers
Battle Royal to determine IC title contenders
Razor Ramon vs. Rick Martel -IC title final (good match, I'd say about ***)

Grade--  B, a great match and a very good one bookend a decent two hour tape.

Off the Top Rope (1 hr.)

Adam Bomb  vs.  Yokozuna
British Bulldog  vs.  Jim Neidhart
Bret Hart  vs.  Owen Hart   clipped from Summerslam 94  ****  (the Summerslam match was about 34 minutes, and you get about the first 15 minutes and last 10 minutes....approximately, I didn't keep track for certain.  Still, for how much is shown, easy ****)
Lex Luger  vs.  Tatanka

Grade-- B-.  2/3 of the Bret/Owen match is nothing to sneeze at, and although the other 3 matches are clipped, they're serviceable.

Paul Bearer's Hits From the Crypt (2 hrs.)

Jeff Jarrett  vs. Lex Luger
Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon    Intercontinental Title Match ***3/4  (really good LONG match, which you don't often get on Coliseum videos.....I hadn't watched this in awhile so I thought this was the WM X match before, but it's not, I think I was confusing this with one of the HBK tapes....but I'm glad to be mistaken, I'd rather have a new ***3/4  rather than a rehashed match from a PPV)
Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Mable
Headshrinkers vs. The Quebecers      Tag Team Title Match
Earthquake vs. Adam Bomb
Bret Hart vs. Kwang
Quebecers/Jeff Jarrett  vs. Men on a Mission/Doink
Randy Savage/Lex Luger  vs. Yokozuna/Crush
Undertaker vs. Crush  (since when does Crush need to be on a tape more than once?)

Grade-- C+.  Been awhile since I watched it and took notes, but I don't remember anything being TOO offensive, and I think most of the HBK/RR match was shown to redeem the tape even more.

Rampage 1991

Mr. Perfect vs. The British Bulldog
Kerry Von Erich vs. The Warlord
Road Warrior Animal vs. Paul Roma
The Rockers & Big Boss Man vs. The Nasty Boys & The Mountie
Ricky Steamboat vs. Demolition Smash
Jake Roberts vs. The Barbarian
Greg “The Hammer” Valentine vs. Haku
The Orient Express vs. Hercules & Paul Roma
Ultimate Warrior vs. The Undertaker

Razor Ramon: Oozing Machismo (2 hrs.)

Razor Ramon vs. Rick Martel
Razor Ramon vs. Adam Bomb
Razor Ramon vs.  Crush
Razor Ramon vs. Jeff  Jarrett
Razor Ramon vs. Yokozuna
Razor Ramon vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels  (WM X ladder match....can't remember if it's complete or not, but I believe it is)

Grade--  C+....I wasn't really into it that much, but nothing actively sucks, and if you're a Razor fan of this period you'll love this tape.

Rowdy Roddy Piper's Greatest Hits (2 hrs.)

Piper's Pit: Andre the Giant   ("You do not throw rocks at a man who's got a machine gun!")
Piper / David Shultz vs. Jimmy Snuka / Andre the Giant (MSG)
Piper's Pit: Frank Williams  ("Just when they think they got the answers, I change the questions!")
Piper's Pit: Mr. T (on set of A-Team)
Piper vs. Hulk Hogan (at MSG, this was on MTV as The War To Settle The Score)
Piper interviews himself (classic stuff)
Mene Gene interviews team Piper before WrestleMania
TNT segment: Vince takes Piper & Orton to consult with a doctor about Orton's "broken" arm (more classic stuff)
Piper's Pit: Jimmy Snuka ("You want bananas? We got Bananas!")
Piper on TNT: Piper slaps Lord Alfred Hayes silly
Piper vs. Jimmy Snuka   no DQ, Guest ref Lou Thesz
Piper's Pit: Tonga Kid  ( "Why would you wear a silly little skirt like this, man?")
Piper vs. Tonga Kid
Piper / Bob Orton vs. Jimmy Snuka / Tonga Kid

Grade--  A.  What can I say?  This tape rules it, lots of classic Piper moments, a little short on the wrestling but easily forgiveable.

Slamfest '95  (1 hr.)

Diesel  vs.  Lex Luger      Intercontinental Title Match  (surprisingly ok match)
Yokozuna  vs.  1-2-3 Kid
Bret/Bulldog  vs.  Owen/Anvil  ***
Doink  vs.  Jeff Jarrett
Diesel/HBK   vs.  Razor Ramon/1-2-3 Kid     ****  Tag Team Title Match  (this is a semi-famous Superstars match, clipped a little, but still about ****....on 2nd thought, I think the match is from Action Zone #2, but I'm not certain.  It IS a famous match though)

Grade-- A.  Three very good matches, two solid ones= 5 for 5 on quality wrestling.  For a 1 hr. tape, just incredible.

Smack 'Em, Whack 'Em  (2 hrs)

Berzerker vs. Crush
Earthquake vs. Repo Man
Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels IC Title (this was the first ever ladder match in the WWF, a sort of tryout to show Vince the match could work....so of course Vince stole the idea for himself...very good match though, about ****ish)
Bret Hart vs. Kamala
Bret Hart vs. Ric Flair - Bret wins his first WWF title ****1/4
Razor Ramon vs. Undertaker

Grade-- B.  Two great matches, one solid match, and three extremely shitty matches dragging the other down.  But the two great matchs are REALLY great.

Supertape '92

Big Boss Man/Jim Neidhart/LOD  vs.  Nasty Boys/Mountie/Earthquake
---Tax Tips from I.R.S.  (this segment is fucking HILARIOUS....well, if you happen to be a tape trader that is....Irwin GOES OFF(!) on the evils of tape dubbing LMAO)
Bret Hart  vs.  I.R.S.      Intercontinental Title Match
--Undertaker video
Undertaker  vs.  Greg Valentine
Undertaker  vs.  Jimmy Snuka
---the rest half of this tape is from This Tuesday in Texas

Ron Garvin  vs.  Mr. Perfect
--Bobby Heenan interview
BushWhackers  vs.  Bolsheviks
BushWhackers  vs.  Bad News Brown/Brooklyn Brawler
BushWhackers  vs.  Powers of Pain  (you know, I've never had the chance to watch this tape as of yet....I'm merely doing the matchlist....but what did mankind do wrong to deserve 3 straight Bushwhacker matches?)
Tito Santana  vs.  Rick Rude
Jake Roberts  vs.  Ted Dibiase
Tugboat  vs.  Iron Mike Sharpe
Hulk Hogan/Brutus Beefcake  vs.  Randy Savage/Zeus      Cage Match

Legion of Doom  vs.  Orient Express
Big Bossman  vs.  Earthquake
Big Bossman  vs.  Bobby Heenan
Big Bossman  vs.  Barbarian

Ultimate Warrior  vs. Hulk Hogan      WWF Title Match from WrestleMania VI
Ultimate Warrior  vs. Papa Shango

Undertaker: He Buries Them Alive (1 hr.)

UnderTaker  vs.  UnderFaker
Undertaker   vs.   Kwang
Undertaker   vs.   Yokozuna    Casket Match
Undertaker  vs.    Jim Neidhart
Undertaker  vs.    Jerry Lawler    Casket Match

Grade- D.  Well, what can I say?  It's the frickin Undertaker.  HOWEVER....if you love old school Undertaker, then this is an A tape without question.  So I guess it's a matter of perspective.

Undertaker: His Gravest Matches

Undertaker vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
Undertaker vs. Repoman
Undertaker vs. Kamala
Undertaker vs. Papa Shango
Undertaker vs. Razor Ramon
Undertaker vs. The Berzerker & Mr. Fuji
Undertaker vs. Ric Flair     (this is another tape that I've never watched, but I might have to do so just to find out if Flair was capable of carrying Undertaker to something watchable)
Undertaker vs. Kamala         Coffin Match
Undertaker vs. The Mountie
Undertaker vs. Yokozuna

Wham Bam Bodyslam

20 man battle royal
Bret Hart/British Bulldog vs. Owen Hart/Jim Neidhart  ****   (this match, in clipped form, is also on the Slamfest '95 tape, however this is the complete match)
Lex Luger  vs. Tatanka
Razor Ramon vs. Jeff Jarrett
Alundra Blayze vs. Bull Nakano   ***1/2
Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart   ****  (this is a lumberjack match....Owen wins it about 5 minutes in with the help of the heel lumberjacks, but The Usual Idiots come out and inform the original ref what happened....the match restarts and Bret wins it the 2nd time...very good match though, I'd say in the area of ***3/4 or ****)
Lex Lugar & Smoking Gunns vs. Tatanka, Diesel & Shawn Michaels  ***
Bushwackers vs. Well Dunn w/ Harvey Whippleman

Grade--  A-.  Four matches at ***+ is extremely rare for Coliseum vids, but the rest is shit.  Still a great tape though.

Wrestlefest '94

Randy Savage vs. Rick Martel
Headshrinkers vs. 123 Kid/Marty Jannetty
Adam Bomb vs. Undertaker
Hart Brothers vs. Steiners   ****1/2 (occured on 1/11/1994, just before Owen's turn on Bret at the Royal Rumble....and amazing match with both teams hitting everything on all cylinders.....only a tiny slow section with Bret and Rick and the extremely shitty double countout finish keep this from ***** territory)
Yokozuna vs. Mr. Perfect
Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon
King's Court w/ Bret Hart
Bret Hart vs. Diesel

Grade--  A.  The Harts-Steiners match by itself would get an A even if the rest was complete shit, it's that good.  But the rest of the matches are solid or watchable.

WWE Hardcore  (1 hr.)
(note-- I'm not sure if this is the exact matchlist in correct order, but these ARE on the tape in some order)

Tori  vs.  Ivory
Al Snow  vs.  Hardcore Holly  (this was the match that ended up in the Mississippi River)
Hardcore Battle Royal from Backlash 2000
Cactus Jack  vs.  Triple H
Various Clips about being hardcore
Shane McMahon  vs.  Steve Blackman

Grade-- C.  Yeah, a couple of impressive matches, but you can easily find them elsewhere.  I only ahve the VHS so all of these are obviously clipped in some way, but I believe the DVD has complete matches, plus lots of bonus matches.

WWF's Most Unusual Matches (1hr, 30 mins)

Tito Santana vs. Greg Valentine    ***1/4     Lumberjack match    (really good considering it's a lumberjack match and interesting finish too)
Greg Valentine vs. Jay Strongbow   Indian Strap match
Roddy Piper/Bob Ortan  vs.  Jimmy Snuka/JYD    Texas Tornado match
Ladies Battle Royal   (this is from like....1965 or something....and it's a god awful fucking mess.  Just horrible)
Battle Royal at MSG   (Antonio Inoki makes an appearance here and takes it pretty easily....although it wasn't tough to call, considering the other big star power in the match was the Iron Sheik and maybe Tito Santana)
Jimmy Snuka vs. Don Muraco    Steel Cage   (the famous match)
Jimmy Snuka/Arnold Skaaland  vs.  Don Muraco/Lou Albano
Haystacks Calhoun/Larry Zbyscko/Peter Maivia  vs.  Moose Munroe/Butcher Vachon/Strong Kobayashi
Rocky Johnson/Salvatore Bellomo/Jimmy Snuka/Pedro Morales/Andre the Giant  vs.  Mr. Fuji/Ray Stevens/Don Muraco/Buddy Rose/Billy Graham     10 Man Tag Match, Best 3 of 5 Falls

Grade--  D.  The first match was good, but nothing else was really decent at all.  The famous Snuka cage leap can be found on other tapes, and besides, that happened AFTER the match anyway.

WWF's Even More Unusual Matches (2 hrs)

Bruno Sammartino  vs.  Randy Savage       Lumberjack match    Intercontinental Title
Tag Team Battle Royal    (almost too much stuff to follow, but pretty decent)
Hulk Hogan  vs.  Harley Race       Texas Death Match    ***1/2  (a really good brawl here, much more than I expected from Hogan)
Hulk Hogan  vs.  Harley Race     Texas Death Match   (another good match, but pretty similar to the first match)
Hercules  vs.  Billy Jack Haynes    Chain Match
Judy Martin/Leilani Kai  vs.  Penny Mitchell/Candice Pardue
Hulk Hogan/Billy Jack Haynes  vs.  Hart Foundation/Danny Davis
Come As You Are Bunkhouse Battle Royal   (Lanny Poffo earns the nickname of The Genius by wearing a suit of armor to the ring....I thought Austin was awesome for wearing a football uniform in that USWA match against Chris Adams I reviewed, but a suit of armor is brilliance)
Billy the Kid/Little John  vs.  Koko Kid/Little Louie     Midget Match

Grade--  C+.  Solid tape, enjoyed it just a little more than Most Unusual.  The Hogan/Race brawl is pretty good and worth a look.

WWF World Tour 1990

Jimmy Snuka  vs.  Boris Zukoff
Jimmy Snuka  vs.  Honky Tonk Man
Bret Hart  vs.  Dino Bravo
Rockers  vs.  The Rougeaus  ***
Ted Dibiase  vs.  Ultimate Warrior
Honky Tonk Man  vs.  Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Hulk Hogan  vs.  Randy Savage

Grade-- C-.  Nothing actively sucks, but it's mostly boring.  Bret and the Rocker/Rougeaus match save this one from being an F.

WWF World Tour 1991

The Rockers vs.  The Orient Express  (disappointing, especially since these two teams have done lots better)
The Warlord vs.  Jim Neidhart
Randy Savage  vs.  Rick Martel  (another matchup that had some promise but sucked)
Ted Dibiase  vs.  Roddy Piper
Jake Roberts  vs.  Earthquake
Mr. Perfect  vs.  Shawn Michaels  ***1/2   (real good match, shitty ending)
Jim Duggan  vs.  Kendo Nagasaki
Hogan/Ultimate Warrior  vs.  Undertaker/Gen. Adnan/Sgt. Slaughter

Grade-- D.  Perfect/Michaels is the only match on the tape that is even comes CLOSE to decent, so D is probably generous.

WWF World Tour 1992

10/03/91 The Mountie vs. Kerry Von Erich
04/19/92 The British Bulldog vs. Irwin R. Schsyter
10/??/91 The British Bulldog vs. Earthquake
??/??/90s Roddy Piper vs. The Barbarian
??/??/90s Battle Royal
