My examples of basic mouse
overs:
To create the basic mouse overs, In
Microsoft Front Page, go Insert> Component> Hover Button. Type
the buton text, which in my case is Mouse Over #1 and Mouse Over
#2. Both of the buttons are 120 pixels in width, and 24 in
height. Mouse over #1 has a green button color, and a blue effect
color, with an effect of reverse glow. Mouse over #2 has a blue
button color, with an orange effect color, with a glow effect.
My examples of custom mouse
overs:
To create the custom
mouse overs, Paint Shop Pro 6 was used. Make an image, size 100
pixels by 100 pixels, using the Picture Tube tool. For 1, I used
cosmos, 2 is fire, and 3 is fish. Save the image in your file, and
copy and paste it as a new image. To the pasted version, use a
deformation or effect to change it. For 1, I used image>
deformation> wind> strength 15. For 2, I used fire, and for
the effect, I painted on more, smaller fire. For 3, I used image>
deformation> wave. Save this image under a different name than
your first image. Close all images in Paint Shop Pro 6, and return
to Microsoft Front Page. Make another button, but choose
custom. Under custom, where it says "button," choose browse and find
the file where you saved your first image. In the next line, choose
browse and choose your second image.
My first web banner:

To make the first web banner, Paint Shop Pro 6
was used. Choose file> new image> size 600 pixels by 65
pixels. click on the picture tube button and choose a graphic.
Fish was used for this banner. The graphic was rescaled at
80%. With the left mouse button, I filled up the area with
fish. Opaqueness of this layer was set to 65. Next, with the
text button, I typed Candice's Web Site. This banner was created
with three layers. Copy merge was chosen, and it was pasted into
Front Page.
My second web
banner:

Using a
digital camera, my picture was taken and saved on the computer
network. I tried different deformations and effects on my picture,
and finally settled on feedback with an opacity of 44, intensity of 52,
horizontal center of 88, vertical center of 91. The picture tube was
used, with clouds in scale 25, to border my face. Create the banner
by choosing flood fill. Pick purple-blue-orange with the sides set
to blue and the inside orange. Choose linear gradient, with an angle
of 7. Set paper texture to pinwheel. Click left mouse button
on banner to flood fill. To make the title, click on text and create
as floating. Go Image> Effect> Drop Shadow. Opacity- 90,
vertical offset 4, horizontal offset 7, blur 5. Using the selection
tool, draw a box around the picture, and pick feathering: 11. Copy
and paste as a new layer.
Web graphic buttons

To create the web graphic buttons, open Paint
Shop Pro 6. Create a new painting, size 200 x 200 pixels, on a white
background. Using the selection tool, place a circle filling the
drawing with a feather of 0. Do not drop the selection. Pick
the flood fill tool and set the tool options for fill style and
gradient. Set the fill style to sunburst gradient, and the gradient
to black-white with a horizontal center of 34, and vertical of 35.
Fill the circle so the highlight is at the upper left. Without
