Blood Dreamer. Violence.... Negative enough?
Writings: Waiting For A Star To Fall

Sounds insane when you think it's about a drug dealer who pimps his girlfriends but it's bloody damn good. And has the two most frelling sexiest guys in it: Lacey and Mav...mmm...

Waiting For A Star To Fall

Waiting for a star to fall
Waiting for a miracle that will never happen
Life in the city of darkness
Where even angels fear
Always the same- never changing

She was so lonely by herself, when no one would pop round for a cup of tea; the children didn't need her anymore and she felt so alone. So terribly alone. Alone and unwanted. That's how everyone ended up; everyone in that crazy, mixed-up world knew their fate was already predetermined. The establishment made it so. An establishment that cared nothing for its people, didn't mind if violence broke out on the streets or if the majority of the population were hooked on drugs. A heartless state. But that was just how things were. As she resigned herself to what was inevitable for hr, she knew: it was up to the children now, they were the only future for the state.

Love without hope, friendship without tolerance, greed without charity, life without reason.
But directly outside her house, in the grey, polluted streets, many youngsters didn't seem that bothered about the state of affairs. Down a side street where darkness lurked as if it was forever covered in night, a group of three gathered. One of the three was obviously confident, but the other two seemed slightly nervous. Glancing around as if expecting to see someone watching them. Money passed hands from the pair to the other, a ball of rolled up notes. In exchange a small bag was handed over and the transaction was complete. These to left, content with the deal, and sidled cautiously back the way they came down the alley.
Another figure came up the alley in the opposite direction in which the first pair left. 'Hey, Maverick, get me some gear will ya?'
'Lacey, got anything for me for that?'
'Come on Mav!' This new person implored the dealer, holding out a shaky hand to him.
The guy turned on the speaker and grabbed his collar, slamming his body against the wall, 'don't call me that on business matters.' He let go of the other guy and turned to go, 'unless you have some other business with me?'
The first speaker scrambled to stand up from where he had fallen when he was freed. He hastily rubbed his neck before uncomfortably tugging his shirt collar and following him. 'Maverick, come on I need a hit, just one. Come on mate.' He ran his trembling hand though his dark hair uneasily.
Maverick turned on his heel to face him again. 'Look mate. I do deals, I'm not a charity. A deal yeah? Where you give me something in exchange for my wares. Got that? No freebies.' He slipped out of the alley and away through the streets. Maverick, like all the rest, used the money he got from dealing to fuel his other addiction- gambling. Even if it meant turning his back on his friends, not that they were true friends anyway, more of acquaintances. No one could be considered as a proper friend, not when they only used you for what they wanted. Lacey- the guy Maverick had encountered in the alley- was the same, not trusting anyone in this messed up world; but Lacey was the nearest thing to a friend that he had.
