I first met Frances one beautiful sunny day when I was in "Aquariums West" my local pet shop buying cat food.

She was behind glass in the bird room, sitting on top of her cage.

I had never seen a Moluccan Cockatoo before and I thought she was the most beautiful thing I'd ever laid eyes on.

As I looked at her, I rested my forehead against the window.  She walked across the top of her cage and pressed her beak up against the glass.

I was hooked!!!!
