The empire is at the edge of a spiarl armed galaxy and in corparates many solar sstems. The Emporer and Security Council are the ruling elite, but there is a Represenative House that is eleced by the member worlds. The house ussually overseas the mundane powers of the Empire, while the Emporer and Council hold the real power.
The Kolonies are expiditions by Citizens of the empire to far flung planets well outside the shpere of the empire. While technically part of the Empire, the truth is they are so remote, that they are autonimous. rarely will the empire bother with the kolonies, for any reason.
The Kolonies are remote from even eachother and have developed various cultures and customs, wich sometimes lead to conflict between the various kolonies.
Aliens (non-humans) have been discovered on the many planets, some belevolent and some bellicose, some of animal intellegence and some of human intellegence.
Two races that the Kolonies are constantly in watch for are the Thrade and the Spugs.
The Spugs are an insecet like beings. These are fersome warriors, that prey on the Kolonies as well. They huse the Kolonist as slaves and a food sorce. They also use live humans as incubation vessels for there eggs. When the egg hatches the larva consumes its host.
The Sprugs are hated by the Kolonist and theyre is never any quarter given in there battles.
