25.Princess Karaoke
Tai and Joe meet up with Mimi in a castle where they found out
that she was the princess of the castle. They told Mimi to go with them and she said no. Then they meet the Gekomon and Otamon and they
told Joe and Tai that they need Mimi to sing to wake up ShogunGekomon, their master. Mimi was acting a jerk and kept making up excused saying that she can't sing and doesn't feel good because she doesn't want to lose her life as princess in the castle. Realizing what she did, Mimi turn back to her old self again and agree to sing and wake ShogunGekomon. When she wake him up, he attack them instead of thanking them. Agumon have to digivolved into the ultimate form, MetalGreymon, to defeat him. They all said goodbye to Gekomon and Otamon and left to search for the other.

26.Sora, Crest of Love
The children meet up with each other except for Sora. They went search for her and got attack by Flymon. Birdramon appear and save them. They follow her and find Sora. She was sad because DemiDevimon said that she is unworthy of the Crest of Love and her crest will never glow. During the night, the children got attack by Myotismon, a new and strong enemy. Their digimon were no match for Myotismon. Then Sora realize the love she have in her and Birdramon were able to digivolved into Garudamon and brought them to safety.

27.The Gateway to Home
After hearing from Gennai that the children must return home using the gate in Myotismon Castled because Myotismon is trying to conquer both the digital world and real world. They only can do it with the help of the eighth child who is in the real world right now. The children then went to Myotismon Castle to find the gate. There they fight with Gatamon and the four beasts that guard the gate to earth, Devidramon. Although they defeated Devidramon, Gatamon and Myotismon went throught the gate and made it back to the real world. The children watch as the gate closed before they could reach it.

28.It's All in the Cards
The children then return to Gennai again and ask him how they suppose to get back to the real world since the gate is closed. He gave 10 card and said that these cards are the key of reopening the gate. Each card fit in one slot next to the gate and one of them is a fake. They must figure out which one is fake because if they put it in the wrong slot, they must end up in a different world. When they reach to Myotismon castle, they got attacked by Dokugumon, Myotismon henchmen. Weregarurumon manage to finish him up and the gate open just in time when the digi-destined put the card in the right slot. They all went throught the gate and made it back to the real world.

29.Return to Highton View Terrace
The children are now in the real world so they have to pretend that their digmon is stuff animal so no one will be scare. While they were returning to Highton View Terrace to find the eighth child, they saw Mammothmon, a digimon who were brought to the real world by Myotismon. He was causing destruction in the real world. Biyomon digivolved to Birdramon to stop him. Then the children remember that four years ago, at this same place, they saw two digimon fighting in the real world. It was Greymon and Parrotmon. Izzy made his conclusion that all of them that saw the battle four year ago at Highton View Terrace became the digi-destined. Birdramon was beating badly by Mammothmon because he was higher level than her. Sora use her crest to make Birdramon digivolved again into the ultimate form, Garudamon and send Mammothmon back to the digital world.

30.Almost Home Free
Since the digidestined couldn't find the eight child, they decide to go back to Odaiba, where they might find the eighth child. The children tried to find a ride home but they couldn't because they have no money. Finally, they found Sora cousin who agree to give them a ride but he turn out to be a real jerk. Then they got attacked by Gesomon on their way back to Odaiba. Ikkakumon took care of him and gave them a ride home.

31.The Eighth Digivice
The children decide to return home because they want to see their family. When Izzy got home, he received e-mail from Gennai saying that Myotisom have send another digimon to the real world to find the eighth child. He also said that the digimon is locate near the lake. When Izzy and Tentomon went to the gate, they saw Raremon, another of Myotismon henchmen. Tentomon digivolved into Kabuterimon to battle with Raremon. Izzy went off to search for the eighth child because his digivice was reacting meaning the eighth child was nearby. Kabuterimon took care of Raremon while Izzy were attacked by DemiDevimon. Kabuterimon appear just in time to save Izzy and scare DemiDevimon off.

32.Gatamon Comes Calling
The children meet up with each other at the park. They nominate Joe to call everyone who lived in Highton View Terrace four year ago to find if they were the eighth child. While Joe was calling different people, the other children went off to search for the eighth child in the city. While Mimi and Sora was searching for the eighth child, they got attacked by SkullMeramon, an ultimate digimon who worked for Myotismon. Biyomon and Palmon digivovled into Birdramon and Togemon but they were no match for SkullMeramon. Tai and Izzy appear with Greymon to help them battle SkullMeramon but he still was too strong for them. Greymon digivolved again into MetalGreymon and defeated SkullMeramon. Back at Tai house, Gatamon found Kari but wasn't sure if she was the eighth child.
