Khiva Cycle Escort
History
The Khiva Cycle unit was chartered in the late 60's as a competitive unit and disbanded in the late 80's.

The new Cycle Escort unit was chartered in January of 1995.

In January of 1995 there were 12- chartered members and by April 1995 membership had grown to 21 members. The unit dedicated themselves to helping promote Shrinedom by riding in parades with their motorcycles. In the process of making our presence known, we hope to promote the great philanthropy of the Shrine and benefit the
Shriner's Hospitals for Children and Khiva Shrine Center.

The Cycle Escort motto is "We ride. So they can walk".

The Cycle Escort is open to anyone who enjoys riding motorcycles, whatever the make or model. If a member of the Shrine does not ride and wants to be involved with the group he is welcome to join at any time.

At present, the membership stands at 43 active members and expects more in the near future.

This unit is dedicated to having fun.
