Storyline/Summary
Destiny Island is an island of beauty and paradise, where children's laughter can be heard. On this island Sora, Riku, and Kairi (three teenage children) spend countless hours enjoying life in paradise. Sora and his friends would look toward the horizon day-dreaming of what else could be out there. They spent their time thinking more and more about sailing out to other lands.
Working together, they made a raft to fufill their curiosity. They then planned to sail out the next day. But that night... something happened. Darkness invaded the Island. Sora ran to find a black hole sucking up everything. He looked around for his friends and found Riku. A dark force gathered underneath there feet and swallowed them both. It seemed Sora found him self still alive, but in his hands was a sword with which the blade was shaped like a key, the keyblade.
Monsters of darkness, Heartless, then appeared and started attacking. Sora fought and won against the heartless. Sora looked everywhere for Kairi and finally found her in a a cave where they used to play together. Kairi was facing a door. The door suddenly burst open and she was blown away out while Sora was sucked in.
Sora then woke up in a new town that he had never seen, Traverse Town. With no sign of Riku and Kairi anywhere he starts his quest to find them. As Sora progresses he meets up with new friends, Donald & Goofy. It seems Donald & Goofy have problems too, The King of Disney Castle, Mickey Mouse, has gone missing. Sora is quick to accept them as new buddies and promises to help find Mickey also! More and more worlds open as you continue your quest to find your friends.
Keyblades
After meeting a certain criteria you can unlock more "Keyblades" to choose from. Here is a list of Sora's weapons available for the game.
Kingdom Key
Description: The key chain attached draws out the Keyblade's true form and power.
Power: +3
Where to get: This is the default weapon used by Sora in the beginning of the game.
Jungle King
Description: Has a long reach, but seldom deals critical blows.
Power: +5
Where to get: You obtain this weapon after you complete the 'Deep Jungle' world.
Three Wishes
Description: A powerful weapon that is difficult to deflect.
Power: +6
Where to get: You get this after beating Agraba.
Crabclaw
Description: Raises max MP by 1, and enhances magic and summon power. Also deals good physical damage.
Power: +6 MP +1
Where to get: Get this after beating Atlantica.
Pumpkinhead
Description: Has a long reach and the ability to deal a string of critical blows.
Power: +7
Where to get: Beat Halloween Town.
Fairy Harp
Description: Raises max MP by 1, and enhances magic and summon power. Sometimes deals powerful critical blows.
Power: +8 MP +1
Where to get: Seal Neverland's keyhole and talk to Peter Pan.
Wishing Star
Description: Has a short reach, but always finishes up a combo attack with a powerful critical blow.
Power: +5
Where to get: Escape from Monstero. Then go to Traverse Town and find Geppetto's house, then talk to him.
Spellbinder
Description: Raises max PM by 2, and significantly enhances magic and summon power.
Power: +4 MP +2
Where to get: Talk to Merlin after getting all Class 1 magic (Fire, Blizzard, etc.)
Metal Chocobo
Description: Possesses incredible power and reach, but reduces max MP by 1. Rarely deals critical blows.
Power: +10
Where to get: Beat Cloud in the Hercules Tournament in the Olympus Coliseum.
Olympia
Description: A powerful weapon that is difficult to deflect. Capable of inflicting mighty critical blows.
Power: +9
Where to get: Beat the Hercules Tournament in the Olympus Coliseum.
Lionheart
Description: Raises max MP by 1, and enhances magic and summon power. Also deals great physical damage.
Power: +10 MP +1
Where to get: Defeat Leon and Cloud in the Hades Cup at the Olympus Coliseum.
Lady Luck
Description: Raises max MP by 2, and significantly enhances magic and summon power. Also inflicts good physical damage.
Power: +8 MP +2
Where to get: It is in a White Trinity mark in Wonderland.
Divine Rose
Description: A powerful weapon that is difficult to deflect. Capable of dealing a string of critical blows.
Power: +10
Where to get: Free the Seven Princesses of Heart and talk to Belle in the Library at Hollow Bastion.
Oathkeeper
Description: Raises max MP by 1, and enhances magic and summon power. Capable of dealing a string of critical blows.
Power: +9 MP +1
Where to get: Talk to Kairi in the Sewers at Traverse Town after locking the Keyhole in Hollow Bastion.
Oblivion
Description: Possesses colossal power, but reduces max MP by 1.
Power: +11 MP -1
Where to get: It is in a chest in the Grand Hall at Hollow Bastion.
Ultima Weapon
Description: The ultimate Keyblade. Raises max MP by 2, and possesses maximum power and attributes.
Power: +12 MP +2
Where to get: Synthesize all items in the Moogle's Synthesis shop at Traverse Town. Then it will be available to synthesize.
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix Only
Diamond Dust
Description: A Keyblade gained by destroying the Ice Titan. It deals more on Magic rather than power.
Power: +3 MP +3
Where to get: Destroy the Ice Titan at the Olympus Coliseum in the Gold Match.
One Winged Angel
Description - A Keyblade gained by defeating Sephiroth. It deals more on Power and less on Magic.
Power: +8 MP -2
Where to get: Defeat Sephiroth in the Platinum Match at the Olympus Coliseum. |
