NOSFERATU
Donated by Rebecca Ann West

The phrase 'Bite Me!' took on a new meaning for one unfortunate person...

These are the Vampires that children are actively warned of, those created with a bite. And it is that easy, for the undead these are the sociable ones, they have been willing to talk to the scholars that are inclined to pay their price. To give someone 'The Kiss Of Death' Is to loose a little bit of themselves, a part of what they believe remains of their souls, and so is done with extreme reluctance, or under orders, who from they declined to say.

Their strength is perhaps three times that of a mortal warrior, it matters not their size or strength when they were mortal. Unlike the
Vampiri they have no particular telepathic talents but are instead dreamwalkers using it to lure their prey to them, certain members are also blessed with the scubbus trick of being able to project desirability, flight is also something spoken of with certain awe being a rare gift whereas all are capable of levitation to some degree or another.

They are as with all other Vampires extremely flammable, sunlight in all of its forms can kill them, and the moon at full can adversely affect weaker members of what they name 'The Kin' They are also vulnerable to wood in the same way that
Vampiri are vulnerable to silver, splinters can literally worm their way inwards, move into the circulatory system and pierce the heart.

The Kin look almost as they did when they were mortal, they are paler, their skin never touched by the sun and slightly more beautiful, as if something in them has been compensated for their lack of life by making their feeding easier. Nosferatu are incapable of breeding but as with all of the Vampiric's are capable of, and indeed enjoy sex, the bite of the Nosferatu is a sexual pleasure in itself, for both parties.

They claim no deity as exclusively their own but are the most likely vampires to be found working for
Castor in whatever plot he's hatching at the present time.
