STAGE ONE - THE TEST
Here is the test scenario. There is no right or wrong answer, I simply want you to take the situation and continue it until it reaches it's natural conclusion (please don't leave it unfinished!) - whether you take the side of the more malevolent character and detail his crime (or whatever he/she/it is up to) and possible getaway, or the actions of a more upstanding part of society in attempts to track down and capture the criminal. See the Rules section for rules on posting format, their use will immediately put me in a good mood when it comes to assessing the test responses.
It was a dark, moonless night in the city
of Lunarol. The large city was generally a clean place, with a
low crime rate and good, upstanding citizens. Money was
plentiful, but thieves had been discouraged from immigrating in
large quantities by the heavy-handedness of the powerful City
Watch.
Things had changed, however. Even now, a figure crept through the
streets, intent on it's target. The Watch had long since passed
this way, the shadowy figure had been told, and would not be
returning this way for at least another half hour. Onwards the
figure crept, on noiseless feet...
STAGE TWO - THE PROFILE
The GM will respond with the results of your application within a day or two. If your test is accepted, he will ask for you to fill in a player profile for his records, and to ensure that none of the game rules are being flaunted. It is acceptable for potential players to also send in the profile with the test response - this will speed up the application. Once he has received your profile, you will be subscribed to the game. Details from the profile will be kept by the GM for his own knowledge, and will not be passed on to any others.

While I admit that the process is quite intricate, it has been proven to work. It is designed to find high quality, suitable applicants for the game, which will keep the standard of the game as high as possible.
