I joined the SCA in 2004 and loved it pretty much right away. From August 2005 to September 2006 I was a memeber of House Paragon Keep. Then in January of 2007 I became a student of Baroness Alex, and at Pennsic 36 I will become her Protege.
I have choosen a Persian persona from the 16th cenutry. I find the cultre so interesting and full of life.
About Khayra
Khayra was born in Tabriz, Persia in 1525. She is the second child of Mujahid ibn Babak al-Tayyib (father) and Umm Najdah Aminah (mother). She has an older brother Najdah ibn Mujahid.
Khayra's Father was given the title of al-Tayyib meaning good or good natured in Arabic. Khayra was honored when the people she lived near gaver her that name as well.
Her father and brother are high ranking soliders in the army of Shah Tahmasp I, and help keep Persia safe from attacking Ottoman Turks.
