WELCOME TO BÁATHARZ |
Báatharz, better known to the Western world as Bathland, is an autonomous zamin (territory) of the Kingdom of Babkha. Báatharz is a small land of sandy deserts, rolling hills, towering mountains and lush oasises. The Báatharzis are a generous people, descended from the ancient Kingdom of Saba (modern Yemen), and have been long and loyal friends of the Babkhans for many years. Báatharzis have a distinctly Arabic culture, but have a wide variety of other religions, ethnicities and groups spread out across the zamin, particularily Iranian. As a zamin, Báatharz is bound to the Kingdom of Babkha through an oath of loyalty, signed in blood during the reign of Babak Shah and now in royal testament during the reign of Ardashir Khan Osmani. Today, Báatharz pays homage to the rule of HIM Shahanshah Tahmaseb Shah Abakhtari, and affords it's tribute to Kapitalia with honor and respect. In return, Babkha remains ever vigilant over Báatharz and those who might try and hurt it. From bases at the Báatharzi capital of Sana'ri, to the suburbs of Nau Aden, the IBAF protects Báatharz from any threat. Báatharz is always open to visitors, and welcomes foreigners seeking to stay at the posh oasis hotels across the zamin, or enjoy our other fine areas of entertainment. To learn more about the inner working of the Báatharzis, check out the rest of the site via the navigation bar at the top of this page. Of course, if you enjoy Báatharz enough to stay, new citizens are always welcomed with open arms. Either way, we hope you enjoy your visit. |
