| Get into the mind of a lonesome deep snapper, as the special teams ace for the HATED Tennessee Volunteers shares his thoughts about life in dirty Knoxville and maybe some sports too...(oh yeah, he's currently on a one year hiatus) | ||||||||||
| October 5th, 2001 (Ed. note--that's right, first entry in 9.5 months) Sorry it has been a long time since my last entry. I know all of my loyal readers have been after me, wondering of my whereabouts. I will refresh all to my life... I left high school to become the dream of college athletics. I was a red shirt my first year at the University of Tennessee as I perfected my techniques as a world class deep snapper. It took basically the entire year but my goal was achieved. I am the prototypical deep snapper now. I started my freshman year and had a flawless year for the Tennessee Vols and am bored by the life as a college athlete. I am ready to move on to a bigger challenge. I will attend a professional combine in the next year and take a shot at that. I have reason to believe I can content with any one athlete at the position of deep snapper. There is not too much room for improvement for my game. "I'm not conceited, I'm just good." I am beginning the new journey and will subsequently update you as my odyssey unveils. |

| December 24th, 2000 Well, it has been quite some time since I have written. It is not because of lack of interest for the gem of a website. I sincerely apologize to my loyal fans. I have been very busy preparing for the Cotton Bowl in Dallas,Texas. We are preparing to battle the very tough Wildcats of Kansas State. They have a very solid team after conquering Nebraska fairly handily. They will be prepared after the sure victory over #1 Oklahoma slip through their grasp. I think we stand a good chance against the K-State but only time will tell. It is a very early game and we have done well with them so far. Bowl two-a-days went very well. Our stud and Outland Trophy winner John Henderson looked great, as did Tennessee's all-time leading rusher Travis Henry. Casey Clausen continued to throw as if he is a veteran on the young UT team. Kansas State has not been challenged by such a strong combination of power and speed. I almost can guarantee victory for the Vols in the first game of the year 2001. |

| December 6th, 2000. I am writing my first log at 4:08 in the A.M. If you do not like my exerts then you can take the blue pill at the end. Most sane people would begin reading this and believe this is late. For me, this is just the start of my night. I am what some people like to call a night owl. I could ramble on and on about sports for a good 30 pages with my great wisdom. I have decided not to, this will be the true to life area of the guys page who needs to move in a small cabin in Minnesota and not be heard from again until that state brings home a trophy or ring. He will die unheard from because it isn't gonna happen. A little on me....well, I am the starting deep snapper for the U.T. Vols even though I am a recipient of Vol bashing. I am starting as a freshman. Hopefully I will end up in the NFL and be as rich as "Big Earn" McCracken. I will start a weekly diary and joke or quote of the day. It will be there as long as Ty will edit it. So count on him. Also, a side note. I get 0 damn respect as a snapper. If I quit the team, the team would go to hell, but I won't and they will never know. Hey, that is the life as a snapper, I will never be noticed until I mess up. So hopefully, none of you people will ever know my name. |
