Personal Progress Journal - End of Week 9
I have lost seven more pounds.  I hit a plateau at 225lbs that lasted a week.  Close control over my diet, hard aerobic workouts and weight lifting concentrating on each muscle group got me over it.  I'm almost half way with my goal of 40 lbs.  Soon, I will never see 220lbs again.  This in itself seemed almost unattainable just a short 9 weeks ago.

My blood pressure is steady at normal.

I recently hiked the Horsetheif Park trail carrying my one year old son in a backpack.  This seemed like a breeze when just a year ago this hike was hard for me.  This is an obvious increase in endurance.

Colleagues at work are starting to come to me asking how I am loosing all of this weight.  My whole family is eating healthier and exercising more often.  I think the change will be permanent.
