Bengali Literature

The first Bangla novel I have ever read was "Pother Pachaly" (Song of the street). But I was very little then; I wasn't even in school. I loved the short stories of Rabindranath Tagore, such as "Daak Ghar" (Post Office) and "Kabuliwala" (A man from Kabul). I'm really proud that Bangla gave birth to two geniuses: Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam. They both made our literature very rich with their creative writings and music.
The world of the rebel poet of Bengal, the national poet of bangladesh, and probably, more appropriately, a true world poet Kazi Nazrul islam. I like him for his Rebel poems("BIDROHI KOBITA"), My Excuse( Amar Koifiyot), In Ecstasy of creation ( Sristi shukher Ullashe). when i am passing 7 years old, alaways i was crazy to buy Nazrul's poems that y my father were angry to me (caz DAD kiptami korto amake TAKA dite...lolz).
