| Our schedule: (For those of you who want to know more specifically where we will be) Also, if anyone wants to join us on one of our trips, please let us know. If you have suggestions for other trips, we'd love to hear. May-June: Jina and Jerica are flying out and Jerica will go on a cruise with us, JoAnn, John and Isabel Engelking. Then travel with Jerica back to Nebraska. Her first long trip, alone with Tata and Papa. July: Spend time with family in Nebraska; take Bubby on a long weekend; he's so busy!! July-Aug: NE, Canada (Calgary, and several places in BC); the NW coast with friends. Home Aug. 2. Aug.-Sept.- home in So Calif. Oct - mid Nov.- see trip details above. |
| June 18, 2009: On June 10th we left on our trip with Jerica. We started with Boomtown (Reno), NV with Dale and Diana. Then onto Park City, UT for 1 week at a timeshare condo (June 13-20). We should be in Adams, NE by June 25th. We will spend a long weekend with Bubby in Kansas City, MO: Chicago/Earth,Wind and Fire Concert and base ball game (6/27-30). (P.S. | Aug. 30: We've enjoyed being home, but it has been hot off and on and always the fire danger (big one north of LA currently). Jim has our next trip mostly mapped out. We leave 9/30 from San Diego on Holland Am. Westerdam for 18 days; thru the Panama Canal with 15 ports of call. It ends in Florida. On 10/20 we fly to Venice and start a tour of Croatia and Slovenia with Gate 1 Travel for 10 days. We then stay 12 extra days on our own. It ends with 5 days in FL and home 11/17. Sounds ambitious and GREAT!! |
