28/5/06 New Band In The Making
We,
Here At The Site are regularly updated about what Matt is currently up
to, most information of which is not allowed to be released until Matt
says so. We think it's bloody stupid, really, because if he won't
allow us to release it, there's no point in him telling us about it, is
there? Well, we are now able to share the news of a new band
being formed involving our very own keyboardist, Matt Smith. The
as-yet-unnamed band will initially be perfoming a set of cover songs by
bands like Dream Theater, Deep Purple, and Arena. These first
shows will be done so that the band members can get used to each
other's playing styles before getting down to do some proper writing.
There will be updates on this, so keep watching!
15/5/06 New Online Store...
WHATS have just launched a new online shop here on the Aliped website,
where you can now safely buy CD's as and when they are released.
This is a great, secure way to buy CD albums and singles direct
from us, while supporting Aliped at the same time. Matt kept on
about it, and just to shut him up we decided to do it!
We now have peace and quiet.

Writing begins again...
It
has come to our attention that Matt has started writing again.
There are currently 5 sets of lyrics and 3 pieces of music coming
together for another CD. Matt says that the recording will not
begin for a while yet, as he wants to do the shows for 'Digitise'
first. Once the live shows are done, Matt will look into the
keyboard programming for the next Aliped album. Recording won't
begin until next year, which gives him plenty of time to adjust the
songs themselves. For those that have been looking at this site
over the past year or so, Matt says that there is a strong possibility
that a couple of previously unreleased songs may appear on this new
album as well.
Watch this space!

Online store possibilities...
WHATS
are in talks with Matt regarding this site having an online store where
the Keyboardistmatt & Aliped CD's can be purchased. It's
currently under heavy debate... Real heavy debate... Matt
actually thought of it... we don't want the extra work...
...we're trying to talk him out of the idea... it's not really
working...

Albums on eBay...
WHATS
have put some copies of 'When The Sky Goes Dark' & 'Digitise' onto
eBay for purchase at a modest fee:
for WTSGD go nowhere... the listing has now ended!
for
'Digitise' go nowhere... this listing has ended, too!

Website Adjustments...
WHATS have spent a few hours going
through the site making sure everything works, and made a few
adjustments. You will notice that there is no longer a sidebar on
the site, because we removed it. All of the links are now accross
the top of each page, which is mainly for our benefit...
It is also for your benefit, because
when you come on to a page from a search engine, you can now navigate
the site properly!
That's all.

Google search engine...
Following
a brief search on Google, WHATS have found that the Keyboardistmatt
site takes up the only three results for that category.
Matt's
face cracked when we told him. He's not known to smile much...
