| In late 2375 the Breen joined the war in favor of the Dominion. Their first task as allies was to retake the Chin'toka System from the Federation and its allies. |
| The Federation and their allies launched a huge fleet in order to stop the Dominion. However due to lack of knowledge concerning the Breen the Federation fleet was disable by the Breen energy-dampening weapon, which made them easy targets. This was one of if not the biggest Federation loss in the entire war. |
