| The Bajorans are one of the most human-like species every encountered. The main physical difference between Bajorans and humans is the ridges on the nose. The majority of the Bajoran society is centered around a deep spiritual belief in beings know as Prophets. In 2328 the Bajoran homeworld was invaded by the Cardassians. Thereafter Bajor became an occupied territory and the Bajoran people were forced to work as slaves. Slowly the Bajoran people fought back and were finally able to drive the Cardassians away in 2369. Today, many Bajorans serve in the Federation, although Bajor has not officially joined yet. |
