Since I had to work everyday 8 to 5, planning a wedding was no easy task. I ended up using the Internet A LOT to do my research and get ideas. I was married September 22, 2001. I no longer need these links, but I would like to share them with all of you since it spent such a long time compiling them. I'm sure you will find them helpful.
This is basically a board where brides can post and answer questions. Your questions will be answered almost immediately.
I'm still working on this page so check back regularly! If you have a question e-mail me or write in the guestbook. I got married in Oklahoma City, so I may also be able to help you with local wedding questions, also.

I bought my veil from VeilShop.com and I LOVE it. The style I got was way affordable ($70 compared to $200 in bridal shops). These are good quality and I highly recommend them. The veil I wore (pictured far left) had two-tiers and a ribbon edge. I thought it was beautiful. My tiara is a Cathy's Concepts tiara that I purchased from Marilyn's Keepsakes. Everything on this page was very affordable and I got my order FAST. $30 for this tiara, expect to pay almost $100 or more for something a similar size in a bridal shop. They sell everything, though, from gifts to garters. Click on the catalog to order a Marilyn's Keepsakes catalog, or shop online like I did.

Here are some links that are good places to start for your wedding planning. Find pictures of what you like, get advice, and much more.
First of all... How to have an Elegant Wedding for $5,000 or Less This book was very helpful to me in the planning process. It has sample budgets, wedding day schedules, tips on flowers, dresses, basically everything. It is probably in most bookstores. Barnes & Noble has it for $15. This book or similar HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
