Space.......... the final frontier. Somebody famous once said that. I have done so much on earth since my liberation, space was just one more challenge for me to conquer. My fellow gnomes, on this the first International Gnome Day, I humbly address you. Where better for a gnome to be on International Gnome Day, than at the International Space Station. A joint venture for our main space travelling nations, I was honoured to be invited along to represent ALL gnomes, be they free or captive. Although my journeys since liberation have been but a small step for a gnome, they have been a giant leap for gnomekind. Gnomes all over the world are being liberated, being given chances to live rich and fulfilling lives. No longer are we content to stand silently in houses and gardens, suffering untold indignities on our persons. More of us are standing up and being heard. We are showing the world what we are capable of. Living our lives as we choose. I know that we can achieve anything we put our minds to. I am truly humbled by the greatness of earth and space, and by the kindness and encouragement of all I have met since my liberation. Given the chance, we gnomes can make the world a better place. We can live useful lives, limited only by our imagination. Viva la gnomes!!!! Sincerley, Kevin.
