Select Your Team :
Teams are made from elements :
A Driver is an element, a Constructor is an element.
- You are allotted 40-Million for your Race Team (2
Drivers/2 Constructors)
- You are allotted 20-Million for your Transfer Team
(3 Elements)
- A Complete team is made as follows:
- Race Team: TWO Drivers and TWO Cars (Constructors)
- Each Driver in the Race Team is placed in a car from the Race Team
- Transfer Team: THREE elements
- This Can be 3 Drivers, or 3 Cars, or 2 Drivers and 1
Car, or 1 Driver and 2 Cars (See also: Transfers)
- It makes no difference which order these
3 are noted.
- Bonus Race: Each player names one race in the season
that they will receive double points for within the
championship. (See also: Bonus Race Score)
Teams are selected from the Driver
and Car Price List.
About Teams - Important Info
- A Race Team may only contain only ONE element from a real F1
Team at all times - Including After
Transfers.
- Your Transfer Team may contain several elements from a real
F1 team, but be aware of the above rule.
- For every team entered, each player must supply TWO
alternative choices.
- At the start of the season the combination of players Race
Teams together with their highest priced Transfer element must be unique. However
Drivers that are placed in opposite Cars within the Race Team to another team will be
considered unique.
- Where identical teams are submitted players will be randomly
selected, the loser getting their alternative team choice (The
FGP Manager's decision is final).
- Each team should be given a Team Name.
- A complete list of all teams will be
published before the first race.

These points are scored by all drivers, and the best placed car
of each Constructor.
Note: For clarification, the qualifying position will be the
position that Drivers/Cars occupy on the grid after all penalties
have been applied (i.e: Engine Change, FIA enquiries, etc) on the
day of the race.
Race Points (End of Race)
Points are awarded to Drivers and Cars at the end of the race
depending on what position they finish in. Both cars of a
Constructor will score points for their respective positions. If a
Driver or Car does not finish the race, they do not receive these
points.

Improvement Points
Drivers will get 5 points per place made up in the race - Up
to a maximum of 50 points. Therefore if a driver starts from
10th and finishes 4th he will receive 30 improvement.
The best finishing car of a Constructor will score 5 points
per place made up against that Constructors best start position
- Up to a maximum of 50 points.
- For example: if a team qualified 5th and 10th on the grid
and those cars finished in 3rd and 6th then the best finishing
car would score 10 points. (i.e. The highest starters
position is deducted from the highest finishers position and
(if the result is positive) multiplied by 5 to a maximum of
50)
Fastest Lap Points
The Driver and the Constructor that achieves the Fastest Lap of
the race are awarded 25 points each.
Car and Driver Bonus Points
If one or your teams Car and Driver combination finishes then 15
points will be scored. If both Car and Driver combinations finish
then 40 points will be scored.

FIA Classified Result and Amendments
- A Driver/Car that does not finish within the last few laps
will often be classified within the official FIA result. Under
such circumstances the finish position in FGP will equal that of
the FIA Classified Result.
- The FGP result will be based upon that of the race, together
with any amendments that may be imposed up to Friday Midnight
before the next race (Last Race: Midnight after the race).
- Appeals and any F1 sanctions, points penalties etc, after
the above time/date will have no effect on FGP (Subject to
below).
Banned Drivers/Teams and Replacements
- If a driver is replaced, injured or does not race for any
other reason, other than a ban imposed by the FIA, then any
FGP team that has that driver will automatically get his
replacement (Including Transfer Team Drivers).
- If a driver is banned, the F1 team will most likely
replace him with another driver. FGP teams will get that other
drivers points. They may, if desired and within the period,
transfer him out (subject to transfer rules).
- If a Constructor is banned then no points will be scored
for that constructor in FGP teams. Obviously the drivers of
that constructor will also be affected. FGP players may, if
desired and within the period, transfer cars and drivers
(subject to transfer rules).
- In the unlikely circumstance (!) that a Constructor (or
Driver) is banned but continues to race, the FGP will not be
affected by such a ban and Constructors (and Drivers) will
still score all FGP points.
- If a real team does not compete in any number of races for
any reason other than a ban, or withdraws from Formula One
then the FGP teams that include that team will not get
replacements. However, under such circumstances you may
transfer the cars and drivers if the transfer window is open.
If not open you must wait. If the transfer window has passed,
then no drivers/cars may be changed.
- If a driver transfers mid-season to another F1 team you
will still get his points, not those of his replacement at his
old team.

Bonus Race Score
Ahead of the seasons start each player selects one race that will
be their Bonus Race. For this race the team will score double
points within the Championship. The points will be allotted along
with other points at the time of the race.
- The bonus points are not included within the races result
score.
- The Championship table will indicate which teams
have scored
their Bonus points when published.
Transfers and Fees
- You may make transfers After Race 7, and then until
Before
Race 15.
- You may transfer only ONE element (Driver/Car) per race from
your Transfer Team into your Race Team.
- Within the Transfer Window You may also move drivers between
cars in your Main Team. (If you do this, you may not make a
transfer for the same race)
- Each Transfer or Move within your team will cost 150 FGP
Championship Points (points will be deducted from your
accumulated Championship Points, not Race Points)
- The Fee points will be deducted from the Championship
immediately after the first race the transfer takes place.
- There is no limit as to how many transfers/moves you make in
your team (providing you have the points to pay for them!).
- The rule regarding only ONE element from a real F1 team must
still be observed when transfers are made within your Race Team.
- Once a Transfer/Move is made, the driver/car must stay in
that position for at least one race.
- The FGP Manager must be notified of transfers/moves by
email and by the Thursday before the race.
- Transfers will come into effect the race after notification.
- Once players transfer in Drivers and Cars it is recognised
that some teams may be identical. As different points will have
previously been scored the end of season scores should not be
equal.
- After transfers, Race Team values may exceed 40-Million.

Results
The results of each race will be published
on this site Results will usually
be issued shortly after the race, although may be later from
time to time.
Prize Money, etc
Once all teams are entered the Cash Prize
amounts will be published. The Championship Winner will also
receive a Trophy (FGP Managers choice).
All prize money (Races and Championship) will be paid to winners
at the end of the season.
Management, Queries and Disputes (The Small Print!)
- FGP is run by Kevin Staden.
- All money is held in a bank account set up exclusively for
the FGP.
- The FGP results will be calculated using an Excel
spreadsheet.
- Results will be taken from the FIA Official Internet Site.
- Any queries regards FGP results, etc should be taken up
with Kevin Staden by email in the first instance. Please check
carefully, and check the wording of this years rules. I
will attempt to resolve all disputes within a 24-hour period,
and if required, republish the revised result.
- I reserve the right not to amend a result
if disputed after the next race has taken place.
- Anything not covered in the rules above shall be left to the
FGP Managers discretion, and if required, additional
covering rules will be introduced.
- The FGP Managers decision on all matters is
final.
