NY Kretins Website
This website is primarily a punk rocker's guide to the NY scene as it
stands today - after all, it's no longer 1977! New York City is where I
play with my band, the NY Kretins. This site is dedicated to Dee
Dee Ramone... Dee Dee was a personal friend and I had the privilege of
appearing onstage with him on several times. You must understand, I
wasn't in the Remainz (Dee Dee, Marky, and Barbara) or a regular band
member - I was asked to sing the Blitzkrieg Bop with him and his band
those times. It was a tremendous thrill - but these stories will be
told on a special Dee Dee Ramone page soon. Also, I will (finally)
explain my appearance in D's novel Chelsea Horror Hotel therein, as well
as in his zine Taking Dope... The goal of this site is to make sure that no one will
ever forget the most important musicians of this day and age - Dee Dee
Ramone, Cheetah Chrome, Johnny Thunders, Jerry Nolan and Stiv Bators.
There's some very important others as well, but this site is for them.
This website is dedicated in loving memory of Douglas Glenn Colvin aka Dee Dee Ramone, who was my very special friend. His memory will live forever.
