| My name's Alexandra Indiana, but you can call me Al. I was stranded in the forest at about the age of three. It appears that a band of orcs assualted my family's carriage while we were traveling. No bodies were found though, so hopefully they got away. Luckily, a ranger, commonly known as Rymon, found me in a bundle of bushes and saved me. He taught me many things about the woods. I became a skilled marksman with the longbow and longsword. When I was 10, a band of cougars assualted our camp and killed Rymon's dog, Ellie. Ever since then, I've vowed to kill all evil beasts swiftly. At the age of 16 I decided to set out on my own to search for answers I couldn't find in the woods, and to help those that needed it. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| While in Durgaden's forge, we found a bowsman being held hostage. His name is Dash. After spending time with him and talking a bit, we realized how similar we are in both physical appearence and personal character. He knows his family lost his twin sister at birth, and seems to think I am his lost twin. He says that only his father could know the truth though. I don't know how to feel about this. I'm so used to being from the forest. I want to know my parents, but at the same time I am frightened. Dash and I will venture to his father's house some day and find out the answers to many questions. I wait anxiously for that day. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Chapter 1: The Evil Plants of Oakhurst | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| At the age of 17, I found myself in the small town of Oakhurst. The citizens of the town were having problems with orcs and other odd creatures, along with a poisonous apple and an auction. Myself and a | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| party of two others volunteered to help immediately, of course. Jaden, a human rouge; Madrix, an elven wizard; and I, a human ranger, set out immediately for the Sunless Citadel. Rats and skeletons tried to bar our way, but we slashed through them without a problem. I was even nick-named "The Ratinator" because of the skill with which I quartered rats right and left. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| We found many things in this mysterious fortress, including a globe of some sort (which Jaden managed to lose). There were many pretty doors with beautiful carvings. One had a fish scene, one had a firery dragon scene, and one had a skeletal dragon scene. We solved puzzle after puzzle to get through these doors, but the skeletal dragon one stumped us. "Channel good and open the way." Even our cleric didn't understand to turn the door, like one turns undead, until after many days of contemplation. We got inside finally, and found some jems, along with a strange whistle (which Jaden of course pocketed). Behind the fish door was nothing but a water elemental. We fought it, and got wet. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| After that we fought a tiny dragon which tried to freeze us by wrapping him in a blanket and returning him to the goblins. Oh yeah, the kobolds! We found some goblins deep in the dungeon who had lost their dragon. But on our way to finding them, we found a human cleric of Wee Jas and a dwarven fighter (named Durka) hiding in a closet! Apparently they didn't have such good luck with the kobolds. Anyway, they joined our party as "prisoners" and we found the dragon and returned it. When we returned it, they gave us a key to the firery dragon door, that's how we got in. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Outside the skeletal dragon door there was a fountain with scum on the bottom. This scum was very scum like, and so I put some on my dagger so I could study it later. Then the wizard had the bright idea of setting the scum on fire to see what it'd do. It blew up- but not because it was special scum, but because it was a special fountain. That fluid was wasted. Then we found a hole. The cleric decided to throw her dagger down the hole instead of fighting the bad guys we were fighting, so we had to go down and get it after killing everything. The hole was lined with phospherent scum. This phospherent scum was very scum like too, but more interesting than the current scum under study, so I replaced the scum on my dagger with phospherent scum. The bottom of the hole was very dark and lit only by this phospherent scum. There were tunnels leading places, so we followed them. Eventually we came accross a library, and in the library there were very cool books. I found a plant book that was especially interesting, and I started taking notes about the weird trees we kept on seeing. These weird trees grew underground where we were, but there was absolutely no sunlight! |

| Eventually we came accross a room with a bugbear. The bug bear fought well, and I died. But then the cleric saved me, and I sprung up, attempting to slay this foul beast! But the cleric stopped me, since I still looked very unhealthy. After the party slayed this foul beast, we found a shiny morningstar on him. They gave it to me for my heroic efforts in attempting to slay this foul beast, despite certain difficulties. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Then, after fighting more bugbears with sythes tending unnatrual evil sunlightless gardens, we found the evil druid for which we were looking. Oh, I forgot to mention that the wizard tried to poison me with some weird liquid he found in a weird room with dead kobals in it. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Because of this, I let HIM fight the evil druid all by himself, while I fought the druid's frog. The rest of the party worked on his evil minions, which turned out to be the lost childern for whiom we were also looking. The wizard ended up killing the druid and setting fire to his tree though, all in melee combat, so we gave him the nick name "The Martial Wizard." He hated it. I thought that was funny. When we woke up the next morning, Jaden was gone. He left us each a present of items and gold, and said he left for personal reasons. It was right about that time that I started trusting him too, so I was sad that he left. |
