My European Plate Collection

This is a plate from autonomous province of Finland, called Aland.
This passenger plate was issued between 1975-1979
The plate is 5" x 15.5".
This is 1973 Belgium passenger plate.
This plate comes from the front of a automobile.
In Belgium front plates were owner provided.
Did this change with the new euroband plates?
The plate is 13" x 4.5".
This is a 1960's Belgium Military plate
The plate is white with black numbers, and a sticker of the Belgium flag on the left.
Size: 10.75" x 4.25"
This is a new France passenger plate with the Euroband on the right.
The "78" is a Department Code. 78 is the code for Versailles
This plate is embossed, some are flat
Size:21" x 4.5"
This is a France temporary plate.(Expired 6/00) It is from Department of Hauts-de-Seine.
It has a Renault dealer ad at the bottom.
It is embossed and is the same size as my other France plate.
This is a passenger Germany plate. Its a 1956 base.
The district/town is Beyreuth.
Size: 20" x 4.25"
This is a interesting oval shaped plate from germany.
This type of plate was used for export.
The Z meant zoll which in germany means something like export

This is a Ireland passenger plate. The first two number indicate the year.
The two letters indicate the county.(The writting on top also indicates the county
but not all Irish plates say the county on top) This plate was issued in 1991
in Ah Mhi, or in english county Mead. Size:20.5" x 4.5'
This is a moped plate from Liechtenstein. The FL means its from
Liechtenstein the 85 is the year that it was vaild 86 593 is the serial. This is a great, rare plate, one of my favorites is my European collection.

This is a passenger plate from Luxembourg. This plate would go on the rear of a automobile. The front plate does not have the euro flag.
This type of plate was first issued in 1988. I think it's still the current base?
This is a older Netherlands passenger plate. This is not a euroband plate,
what looks like a euroband on the left is really a sticker put on by the owner.
I wonder if these stickers were supplied by the goverment, because I see many NL plates with the same type of sticker.
Do you know if this is true? Plate is 20.25" x 4.25".

"MA" means it is from Malaga.
Size: 19.5" x 4.5"

This is a Yugoslavia passenger plate. This is a older plate from the communist era.
This base was first issued in 1961. In the 1990's it was common to see the red star repainted white.
The "BL" stands for Banja Luka.
Size:n 16.5" x 4.75".
