- Born and raised in the Hudson County area of Northern New Jersey, with previous residences in Union City, Secaucus, and North Bergen;
- Attended Secaucus High School in Secaucus, New Jersey with the graduation class of 1979;
- Graduate of Universal Business and Media School in East Harlem, New York in 1993, studying Accounting and Business Management;
- Graduate of Katharine Gibbs Business School in New York City majoring in Computer Technical Support (CTS), Computer Network Operations (CNO), and Computer Programming Operations (CPO);
- Long time member/volunteer with Heritage of Pride, Inc. assisting with the planning and organizing of annual New York City LGBT Pride events;
- Volunteered with Brooklyn Pride Committee in Brooklyn, New York with planning and organizing of thier very first LGBT Pride events in 1997;
- Dedicated volunteer at a Manhattan Youth Services Center for homeless LGBT identified teenagers;
- Organizer of the Brooklyn Is Better Than Manhattan Meet Up group with over 100 active members;
