1979 Fiat Spider 2000

Ok, so this isn't a picture of MY Spider, but you get the idea...
Mine was forest green and had a little dent that I tried to bondo in the right front passenger's fender (right on top of the head light). Other than that, it looked exactly like this.

This was a fun car; quick off the line, but topped out fairly quick (top speed was maybe 110mph). It had a gear shift aproximately equal in length to that of an adult girafe, but other than that it was pretty easy to drive.

Q: What happened to it?
A:
I found a new toy, my 911E/T and it started to sit since I couldn't drive all my cars all the time. It started to have starter problems and I had no interest in working on it again (see below). True, I could have taken it somewhere to be fixed... but that's not the point... and besides... uhm... er... what are you, my mother!?!?!?!
Q: What lesson did you learn from having it?
A:
1. never try to change a stearing gear in a Fiat Spider... I had to remove half of the motor to change it! 2. In you ever got a flat, you steel one from a wheel barrel (they were THAT small). 3. The micro tires and miniature exterior should have been a clue to the aproximate size of the engine bay.
