here are some cool props from around the lab that I designed. Well, I think they're cool anyway. when properly lit, this set looks AWESOME!
The Techtonics 175HHX control module. You can check it out in greater detail here, or just click the pic.
The projector! This sends movies to the SOL. basically, it's a redesign of the one from MST3KTM. It used to be a projector, but I gutted it to see how it worked. You can see the rest of it on the Techtonics pannel or around the set. Below, is the junk that supposedly runs the projector. you can see the tubes and the keyboard. behind the sump pump.
Here, is the specially designed Gizmonics "G" clipboard. It's really fun to see around the set. just as kind of a momento. It's also fun to take it into stores with a list attached and see who makes an MST3K comment.
I built this cause I was bored. But it represents Dr. Forrester's overall plan. Find a bad movie, and play it globally via the nuclear antenna he has built under the noth pole. It will be raised, a signal returned to earth via the Satellite of Love, and viol'a mush minds! When and if you see our tape, this will be a secret for all those who visit this page. Recognize the bowls?
Part of the projector I ripped apart. It's just there for looks.It also covers up our plugs and extra lights.
The ventolation system. For more than looks. My garage gets HOT when filled with 5 people and all doors and windows shut in costume with lights blaring on us.
I'm gonna build a mock rock wall for around it. It's lit from behind to immitate sunlight.
