Failing to win the immunity challenge, the former Ogakors reverted back to their plan of eliminating Kucha by voting out Nick Brown. This was not unexpected, and many people bet 100 points on his departure. Here are the standings after week ten:
The reward challenge, if you want to call it that, was an auction for food. Each survivor was given $500 to bid on various food items, most of which were pretty lame. For instance, four measly Doritos and salsa. Yeah, I'm starving to death, but I could really use some Doritos right about now! Amber took home the biggest waste of money, paying $200 for a glass of river water disguised as a "mystery plate."
The immunity challenge was a variation of the fire building exercise from the first Survivor series. In this installment, a fire was built in a pail at the end of a pole. A bucket was at the other end of the pole that had to be filled with water. When the water bucket was full enough, the fire would rise and light a fuse. However, the bucket had a hole in it so water would leak out. Nick had an early lead but lost steam as his fire died. Keith appeared to have it in the bag, but quit too soon, and the fire did not light the fuse. Colby persisted and ended up winning immunity for the first time.
