Valek died in 3088 fighting the forces of Clan Star Adder. He did not die in some great battle, nor gloriously. A lucky ER PPC bolt struck a boulder which toppled, crushing the cockpit of Valak's NovaCat. Despite the ignoble death he suffered, the Clan warriors of the Dragon's Teeth, as well as those of Clan NovaCat have chosen to remember him with honor and his genome has been placed in the genetic repository of both groups.
