Overview
Perhaps the most well known Ragnorok made was Serial # RG18236-X03-NT0001, the first production model used personally by Major Loki Rictheron, son of Jez Rictheron, the president of the Sons of the Dragon R&D. Loki had for many years used the powerful Battlemaster dubbed Prometheus, but a deadly engagement during the FedCom civil war brought the end to that proud machine. Loki laid down the specifications for the mech, calling for a heavy mech capable of catching any target, withstanding any barrage, and capable of pin point accuracy. The Ragnorok met and surpassed all his expectations.
Loki fought in the Ragnorok, named Jormungand, through the 2nd Capellan war, and into the Word of Blake Insurrection. It was during that war that Loki became infamous and his mech renowned. On the world of Oriente the 2nd Battalion of the Dragon's Teeth 1st Regiment found itself cornered by the level III iota and eta. Hopelessly outnumbered Loki invoked Jerome Blake's name to declare personal combat against 6 strongest warriors of his enemy. In the midst of the battle Loki's mech seemed to vanish, moving amoung the enemy with an unknown ease, disabling one after another until all six mechs were immobile. Shortly afterward Loki and his mech vanished from the field and were not seen for 12 years.
